Betsy is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. Betsy is a medium sized dog and is brilliant in the house, she lives with a cat and 2 young children and is very gentle. She is good with food she doesn’t beg and stays away from the kids while they’re eating (although she will go and ‘clean up’ as soon as they move). She is house trained, doesn’t chew and is generally calm in the house but she does get a big giddy when there’s visitors.
She has been to training classes and knows lots of commands (sit, down, up, heel, no, spin, find it, leave, touch, wait, go on) but her recall is very poor. She has had private training and special recall only training but this is still a work in progress. She walks well on a lead for the most part but loses all self control if she sees something to chase (squirrel etc). She loves other dogs and just wants to go and play.
She would love to live in a home with other dogs as currently she seems very lonely and adoress the company of other dogs. She is spayed and fully vaccinated and currently in Sheffield. Home checks and adoption fees will apply.
