Betsy – 7-10 month old female Lurcher

Betsy is a 7-10 month old Lurcher girl who came to us recently from a stray pound situation in South Wales. She is an adorable pup who currently stands around 23 inches tall. We don’t think that she has much more growing to do, but she is quite a chunky girl.

She is a gentle, quiet, sweet natured girl and is very affectionate lavishing you with cuddles and kisses. She travels well in the car and walks well on lead in the main but does need extra work on lead manners as she is quite a strong little girl. Betsy has been fabulous so far with all the dogs she has met and wasn’t overly interested in the kennel cats when she met them up close but did want to chase after them when they ran.

As with all young dogs Betsy will need a home with someone around all or most of the time to help her settle in. She would also benefit from training classes to help build her confidence a little more and to give her some boundaries. We feel Betsy would probably be better in a home with another young dog to play with and will of course need work with her house training.

Betsy is currently in Greyhound Gap’s kennels but as she is so young we would like to find either a foster or permanant home for her hence her being placed up for homing now. She has been spayed, vaccinated, de-flead, de wormed and is microchipped. Betsy is currently in kennels in Staffordshire.
