Betty – 1 year old female Greyhound
Betty is a 1 year old female Greyhound. She is a small little girl but is in lovely condition with a gorgeous, shiny black coat. Betty is new to the kennels and is still getting used to things. She is a quiet but affectionate girl who is very much a ‘her people’ dog and relishes her one to one attention. She is good on the lead and gets on with the other greyhounds in the kennels.
Betty has been tested with our resident kitty and has turned out to be not cat friendly. This little girl is still waiting for her (catfree) forever home.

Betty is waiting in her foster home for the right family to come and make her part of their hearts. She is a real little gem of a dog, adores people, walks well on the lead and is well behaved in the home.
Like most greyhounds, Betty will not need a huge amount of exercise. She will be content with two 20min walks a day and perhaps a chance to stretch her legs offlead in a secure area once or twice a week.
In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs who are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Greyhounds also dont shed as much as other dog breeds such as retrievers or labradors, and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers.

This little poppet is currently in kennels in Norfolk, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs.
She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
