Bim – 10 year old male Border Collie

Bim is a 10 year old male Border Collie who’s owner has passed away and all poor Bim has left of his previous life is one of his owners jumpers to comfort him. Bim has lived a comfortable home life and cannot understand what has happened and why he is alone and in kennels. Bim is around 10 years old and really needs to be relaxing in front of the fire at someone’s feet, not staring out through bars at this miserable February weather.

Bim is very sociable and very responsive to you. He visibly perks up once taken out of his kennel and is so pleased to be with you. He turns to smile at you once on the lead and really wants to be fussed. I spent some time with him in the office and he loves nothing better than to tuck his head into you whilst you kiss it. I was whispering in his ear how lovely he was and he just kept pressing himself closer. I can’t tell you what a lovely dog he is and it broke my heart to put him back in his kennel….eventually! I kept putting it off as I couldn’t bear to do it.

Ideally we would be looking for older human company for him, but equally he could live with sensible children who would respect his age. Bim has previously lived with another dog and is perfectly dog-friendly. Bim walks very well on the lead and I imagine he would be happy with a couple of short walks a day where he could have a good sniff and a potter. Bim is in our kennels in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, but could be rehomed outside of the county, within reason and subject to a successful homecheck. Bim is already neutered and has started his vaccinations and will be microchipped.

We are desperate to find him somewhere lovely, somewhere where he will have plenty of company, somewhere he will be cosseted and pampered and comforted. If you think you can offer Bim all these things please get in touch with us.
