Blackie – 3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Blackie is a black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is 3 years old and neutered and vaccinated. When his owners relationship broke down Blackie and his sister Tess were kept outside in a yard in all weathers. They had no shelter, no toys and were fed when the people could be bothered. Despite this cruel start in life, Blackie is an adorable, loving boy.

Blackie wasn’t socialised at the crucial time in his life, therefore he is not good with other dogs. As he is still young we feel that he can be helped to overcome this problem to a certain point. A kind, patient, committed owner who would be willing to follow our behavioural advice would soon have him on the right track. Again Blackie was unsocialised as a pup so he is not used to children. We would therefore request an adult only home for him. Blackie is a genuinely lovely, sweet dog. He has had a terrible start in life and really deserves the chance of a loving home.

Blackie has no medical problems and no real rehoming problems.

Blackie needs a adult only household as he is not used to children and there should be no other pets in the home.
