Bo is a gorgeous 3-4 year old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco). He is a stunning colour and has the most wonderful amber eyes. A true Podenco! He was found with another Podenco boy in Spain, he had been abandoned and left to fend for himself. Bo’s friend has been rehomed and Bo is very sad to have been left behind in the kennels. Bo weighs 16 kgsand measures 50cm to his shoulder.

When Bo was found he had a deep wound in his shoulder which the Spanish rescue believe was the result of someone removing his microchip so the owner could not be traced.
Sadly this is something that happens in Spain. It required 5 internal stitches and 5 external stitches to repair it. Now he is very well and the wound has healed. Despite his injury and pain – he is the most trusting and loving boy you could ever meet.
Bo has been diagnosed with Leishmaniasis – it is low level and we hope more than anything this won’t stop his chances of finding a wonderful home. Dogs with this can lead active normal lives.
For more information about Leishmaniasis – please see the link below in comments, if you have any questions please let us know, we have volunteers who are very knowledgeable and will be happy to explain more. Since being at the shelter Bo has not met cats. He could live with a dog friend.
Bo loved meeting some young visitors to the shelter. Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once he has a home to go to.
He is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, neutered, microchipped, have a Pet Passport, 4 weeks free Pat Insurance. Any known health issues – only low level Leishmaniasis, see link below for more information.
