Bob is a 10-11 year old Beagle. Bob is a lovely older chap, who likes nothing better than to snooze on the sofa or go for a nice walk. Bob was very overweight when he came to us but has lost over 5 kgs since he now gets regular walks and a good diet. Bob will need to continue with his weight loss in his new home. Bob is a friendly boy who likes fuss (almost as much as he likes food!) and can even do some tricks (who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!). He walks perfectly on and off lead and is house trained, he hasn’t even had one ‘accident’ since day one. He will need a new home where the owners have experienced greedy breeds before, Bob is very resourceful when it come to stealing food!
Bob has lived with other animals, and although he doesn’t chase, he is not too fond of being disturbed when he is resting and likes his personal space, so would be better off as an only pet. He has been around rabbits, chickens and horses and is fine, and also likes meeting dogs on walks, he just prefers to have a quiet life at home. He would be okay with older children, as long as they are dog savvy and respect his needs. He is very affectionate and would love nothing more than being spoilt! Bob is not too keen on being left alone and will let everyone know about this! He is looking for a retirement home where he can put his paws up and be loved!
