Bobby – 8 year old male Scottish Terrier Cross

Meet Bobby, an 8 year old Scottish Terrier cross boy who is looking for a new home. Whilst one of our Inspectors was attending to complaints the owner of Bobby approached her to ask if she can take him. Bobby was rehomed but was returned due to a couple of incidents where he nipped a couple of people after being spooked, once by a jogger. We want to give Bobby a chance so the right home is paramount.

Bobby is neutered, micro chipped, health checked, wormed, flead and fully vaccinated. He has a scar from a previous burn but is a very healthy dog. Bobby is a small and very friendly dog with a lovely nature although he is a typical feisty Terrier! He lived with a Pug but he’s not so good with other animals although with slow introductions he may be fine.

He has grown up with children but we are looking for a child free home. He loves doggy choccy drops and chews. He travels well but loves to see what’s going on!

He’s not toy or food possessive and knows a few commands. He is good on the lead but even though he may come back when called you may have trouble catching him-he likes this game! He is also housetrained.

We are looking for someone who is home a lot as he doesn’t really like being left on his own, perhaps you’re a retired couple or work from home and you have a secure garden. You will also be experienced with Terriers and their cheeky ways!

Bobby is so much fun and very loving, he’s great in the house and with visitors to the home but due to the aforementioned incidents he needs a quiet area with someone who is experienced with terriers like Bobby, do you have areas you can walk him that aren’t popular with lots of dog walkers and joggers? We all love Bobby to bits and just want to give him a chance, in the right home he’ll be a wonderful pet!
