Bobby – 4-5 year old German Shepherd cross Labrador
Bobby is a male German Shepherd cross Labrador, who we think he is about 4-5 years old. His foster carer says: Bobby has proved to be very well trained, knowing sit, down, stay. and go to bed. He has been a delight to look after, slept without a sound on his first night and was clean.
During the day, Bobby did have the odd wee but I think this was marking as at the time he was not neutered. Hopefully, now he has been neutered, it won’t be long before he is fully housetrained. Bobby met a lot of people on his first night here and greeted them all with a lovely wag of the tail, showing no signs of fear or aggression.
Bobby will be best homed without cats or with a really, really confident cat. He is great with other dogs and was happy to share with a grumpy German Shepherd bitch who gave him a tough time, a puppy who jumped all over him and a Rottweiler/German Shepherd-cross bitch who loved him.
He has been with children from 9 years upwards and was also great with them. If I had to think of anything that was not good about Bobby it would only be that he pulls like a steam train on the lead, but with some work and regular walks I think this will soon be rectified. Whoever gets this lovely boy will be very lucky.
