Bobtail – 6 month old male Lurcher

Bobtail is a six month old Lurcher boy who has come to us for rehoming through no fault of his own. He is quite unique in that he has no tail it was damaged when he was a youngster and so it was removed. He really is everybody’s friend, a real waggy, happy chappy!

He is in foster with two more lurchers and a collie and sleeps and plays quite happily with the dogs. In his previous home, he lived with two cats and so could quite happily live with cats again after proper introductions. He also lived with children, one of which was a toddler and so he could quite happily live with children again. We would prefer him to go to a home where he would have doggy company.

Bob is eager to please and a fast learner and would make a fantastic agility dog. He is an intelligent boy and would certainly benefit from training and activities in which he could use his brain. He is housetrained, however occasionally has had a few accidents and so we would like a home where somebody will be around most of the time to keep him to a routine. After food, sleep and exercise, as with all youngsters he must have access to outside to maintain his housetraining and to ensure he remains clean in the home.
Bobtail loves human company and would quite happily curl up on somebody’s knee all day, he really does love people! For this reason, we would like him to go to a home where somebody is around most of the time due to his age and because he does prefer to be in the thick of things!
Bobtail is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered before he goes to his new home.

Bobtail is based in the North of England.
