Bonnie – 5 year old female Brittany Spaniel

Bonnie is a 5 year old female Brittany Spaniel. Bonnie is a stunning, loving, medium sized, tan and white Breton girl, and she loves to run and investigate everything! She is fine with other dogs, never aggressive. She lives with another dog now and is slowly learning to play – but is far more interested in humans than other dogs. She would be able to live with another dog but we think she will also be happier as an ‘only dog’ getting all the attention! She would make a fantastic companion and she wants to be by your side at all times. Dumped by hunters earlier this year, Bonnie was taken in by an English lady, she has been living with her in a house with a garden in Fuengirola, Andalucia since April. The English lady has taken her to the vets to be checked and blood tested and has paid for all her vaccines and passport to come to the UK.

Fosterer’s report: She wants all the attention from people rather than play with dogs, which she doesn’t really know how to do. On walks she is indifferent to other dogs – but will leap at their owners to be stroked! She is much calmer and has adapted to living inside (she was sleeping in a garden before) and is used to being left. She walks on a lead but pulls! She goes on walks on the lead and is let off and comes back when called – when she gets a whiff of something she will go quite far but always comes back. She is fine with kids, although she doesn’t live with any. I’m not sure how used to cats she is – she sometimes tries to chase them on walks. We have Bonnie on a diet now as she does like her food as you can see. You will see how sweet she is in the photos and videos – she would make someone very happy!

Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Spayed, Microchipped, Pet Passport, FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance to be activated from the link on our website, Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.

For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 265 – to be paid direct to the Rescuer to cover travel costs via UK bank account
