Boson – 16-18 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Boson is a 16-18 month old neutered Staffordshire Bull Terrier, affectionately known as ‘Bobo’ is one of the sweetest, funniest little dogs I have ever known, he is always making me laugh with his cute ways, and affectionate nature. He has literally stolen my heart! Boson is a very special boy who is looking for a very special, loving permanent home. He is currently in foster care in Sidbury, near Sidmouth, Devon.
My good points – by Boson: I like humans, even tiny ones, and I wouldn’t even dream of being mean to any. I love nothing more than a big cuddle, and I like to put my head on your shoulder and have a really close cuddle. I don’t have ‘accidents’ in the house, and I know all about having to go out into the garden when I need to go to the loo.
I love all my doggie friends, and if they don’t want to play with me, I respect that and I go and lie down, and I don’t push it. I don’t mind if you go out and don’t take me with you. I am just quiet until you return, and I would never chew up any of your things while you were out.
I’m very chilled out in the house, and so quiet, you wouldn’t even know I was there at times! (unless it’s time to go out for a walk – and then I make my ‘jazz improvisation noises’, which I think are fab, but can see why the noises aren’t appreciated, I guess – see ‘not so good points’). I know how to sit and wait quietly for my dinner, and I don’t try and steal food from my doggie friends.
I’ve learnt how to not try and jump out of the car the second the human gets out. I know how to wait now, until the human holding the lead says it’s ok to come out. I don’t mind if you decide to take something away from me, ie my ball or toy or food, but I haven’t quite worked out why you’d want it. Oh well!
My not so good points – by Boson (reluctantly): I make my ‘jazz improvisation noises’ when it’s time to go out. (I can’t explain the noises to you in any other way) The humans have been working on teaching me not to make them, and I’m getting the message, but it’s taking me some time. skee doo da dee dap papp a deee da doo doo!
Although I love my doggie friends that I live with, I can be known to bark at other doggies when I go out. I will be fine with other doggies that I might live with, but I need to find a home with a human who understands doggies like me.
I want to chase anything that looks like a cat. Even if it turns out to be a plastic bag, I still want to chase it until I know the difference. I hope you will see that my ‘not so good’ points are much fewer than my good points! I am a very loving and loyal boy who is doing his very best to get over a rocky past. Love Bobo.
