Bounce – 2 1/2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Bounce is a wonderful 2 1/2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He was found by our Inspector in the pouring rain and in freezing conditions, the poor boy was frozen and very scared. He was waiting outside his home but it was empty. The owner was traced and witnesses interviewed, it turns out he was thrown out days before but this couldn’t be proven. He is underweight at the moment but will put on weight gradually now that he’s being fed. Bouncer has been castrated, wormed, flead, health checked, micro chipped and started vaccinations.

Bounce is a typical Staffy in that he is so very friendly, he did live with children for about 8 months. Bounce is fine with dogs but can be hit and miss with males although the Inspector said when at the vets his tail was wagging. Now that he’s been castrated he may improve.

Staffies can be hard to rehome due to all the negative ignorance about the breed. They make wonderful family pets; they weren’t named the Nanny Dog for nothing. Because Bouncer can be boisterous and play mouths he’d be better off with teenagers rather than small children. Staffies are incrediby loyal and only want to please.

They always look up to their owner and are always asking “Is this good enough for you, am I doing everything right because I just want to make you happy”. Despite how badly they are treated you will rarely see an aggressive Staffy because they just want to be loved by everyone.

Bounce deserves a forever home, not to be passed from pillar to post because no-one cares, he needs an owner who will truly love him and give him everything he needs for the rest of his life.
