Bradley is an older, short-legged medium-sized male, approximately 8 – 9 years old and possibly a collie cross corgi. He is cute with large, expressive eyes and likes to roll over on his back to have his tummy rubbed. He has a zest for life when he’s not sleeping! He’s currently living in a foster home in Worthing, West Sussex with several other dogs until he finds his forever home. Bradley has had a sad past where he spent a significant part of his life tied to an oil drum in a field in all weathers and then was later confined to a shed. All that is behind him now that he’s in foster. During his time with us Bradley has shown what a wonderful companion he’s going to be to a new owner.
Bradley is a quiet and affectionate boy. He enjoys strokes, pottering around the garden and the company of people and other dogs. He particularly likes carrying his soft toy around in his mouth and someone throwing it for him to retrieve. Bradley gets on with most dogs, (a few occasionally frighten him and then he will bark at them) and he would really enjoy living with another friendly mature dog but would also be fine as a single dog.
Bradley could possibly live with a confident cat. He walks very well on an extension lead but is not left off the lead as he’s hard of hearing. He really enjoys home cooked food but because he’s rather overweight, could do with several small walks a day. Bradley is house-trained and can be left for a reasonable amount of time without any problems as he does enjoy napping during the day.
Bradley is a long-coated dog with short legs (in these photos he’s just been clipped), so he will need to go to a professional groomers about once every two months to be clipped around his back petticoat area to maintain his dignity.
Bradley is looking for a quiet, adult home who will understand that he’s an older dog who doesn’t want to learn too many new commands but just wants to be your friend.
