Brindle Boy

This Brindle male Japanese Akita aged approximately 2 years was picked up by the police as stray in Sheffield. He is not in the care of the Akita Welfare & Rescue Trust, but he has just come to our attention. He has a black head, and is white with brindle patches. He is underweight, but apparently eating well and is very food orientated!

Good personality, not overly nervous or timid – he was great with us considering he’d never seen us before. He was a bit wild when he first came in and for a couple of days but has calmed down loads since then. His eyes are a little runny, reckon this would clear up with a couple of days of eyedrops. He looks as though when put on a proper diet he will be a big boy!

Because he was picked up as a stray, we don’t know how he would get on in a household with children or small animals.
