Brinnie - 4 1/2 year old female Boxer

Meet Brinnie, a 4 1/2 year old female Boxer who is looking for a new home. She has come to us because her owners could not provide what she needed, a tiny house with no garden, living with 6 children and 2 adults with no space, social services were involved as the conditions they were living in were pretty bad and they requested the dog be rehomed.

She was already micro-chipped but we’ve had her health checked, wormed/flead and first vaccination, she can’t be spayed as she’s due a season, so a voucher will be provided. Brinnie is absolutely gorgeous, she is so friendly, not a bad bone in her body, really affectionate, loving and playful, she adores a bum rub and a cuddle, she was brilliant at the vets which was great considering she’s not been to one for over 4 years. She’s fantastic with children, being brought up with 6 toddlers who did allsorts to her without her batting an eyelid.

Her previous owner says she’s fine with other dogs, she passes them on walks with no problem. She’s very much used to being off lead on walks and she carries her own lead, she’s very good on the lead but likes to hold it aswell, it’s just how she’s been trained, she doesn’t pull or tug it, I walked her on a very slack lead and all the while she had some of it in her mouth, it’s like a dog who likes to carry a toy, this needs to be accepted.

She’s very obedient, she loves her walks, her recall is very good, she doesn’t go far and comes when you whistle, she is a very good traveller and particularly loves sticks, balls and plastic bottles, oh and bones! She’s also used to having her own bed in the owners bedroom and was always allowed upstairs. What’s wonderful is that she has her tail which is a rarity, she is also very small.

We will rehome her with children as long as they are respectful of Brinnie, she needs a big garden to play in, with lots of nice walks close by, she’s not lived with other pets so we’ll keep it that way, she needs a home where there is someone around a lot as she’s not used to being left on her own and would miss the company, you just can’t fault this lovely girl.
