Brooke – 8 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Brooke is an 8 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier currently being fostered in Wilmslow Cheshire who has been signed over for rehoming by the owner due to a relationship break up and she couldn’t take her dog to the new accommodation. Brooke is fully vaccinated and will be microchipped, wormed, flead and spayed in due course.

Brooke is a typical puppy, full of energy and joy! She is adorable, she is small in size and a traditional Stafford in shape. She is incredibly friendly which is typical of the breed. All she wants to do is play and lie on her back for belly rubs.

Despite having been attacked already by two different dogs she is fine with other dogs, she tends to be quite submissive and wary of some dogs but she is not aggressive. She is good with children having been brought up with a small boy and is being fostered with two young girls. She can be rehomed with a dog but if not we would expect the new owner to continue with dog socialisation.

She is great in the car, is pretty much house trained, she is not toy or food possessive and she likes being bathed and groomed and is good on the lead. Shes not really been off lead in public but her recall is good, ofcourse this will need to be spot on before she can be off lead with the new owner. The only thing she doesn’t like is the hoover!

So, a beautiful little Staffy girl who at such a young age is looking for her forever home!

A puppy really is for life and is very demanding of time and attention. So you must be prepared for a lot of hard work. They teeth for many months which means they will mouth hands and may chew things; they need copious amounts of exercise and stimulation and kind reward training.

Thinking about adopting a dog?- How about if we gave you some free dog food to make life easier?

Highly recommended if you’re thinking of adopting a dog:- Compare dog insurance policies and make sure your idea of the cheapest dog insurance isn’t mistaken for the best dog insurance!
