Brooklyn – 2 year old male Collie Cross
Brooklyn (Brook to his friends) is a Collie cross who has been at Babworth Animal Rescue Kennels for over 18 months and as he is only around 2 years old which means he has been with us most of his life. He does not like cats and would be better re-homed as the only pet and with older children.
He is friendly and energetic. He is wonderfully clever which can make him a handful with an in-experienced handler. Brook is eager to please and learns extremely quickly. He is good on the lead and always happy to see you. Brook will need an active home with lots of stimulation or he will get bored easy.
He is a favourite with all the staff at the shelter and we all believe the main reasons he has been with us so long is he does not show himself well in kennels and would take more effort on a daily basis than most dogs. However, Brook would make the most loyal and well behaved pet in the right home. Could you be the home that Brook has been looking for all his life?
