Bruce is a 5 year old male Boston Terrier. Bruce is a bonzer boy who has come to us to find his forever home as he is no longer required for breeding. He has settled amazingly well into life in the home. He loves the sofa and is happiest curled up either beside you or on you. He is quite a playful lad and enjoys being with the other dogs. He will need new owners who are around for most of the day and have at least one other resident dog. It would be great if applicants had knowledge of owning brachycephalic breeds previously.
He eats well, travels in the car without issue and sleeps without issues. Bruce is a strong minded lad who will need owners with breed experience and the confidence to let Bruce know he does not need to be in charge and what the baoundaries are. Bruce is rude and clumsy when first meeting new dogs and will require patient owners who are comitted to continuing the training his foster has started with him.
Bruce is a busy chap who could potentially be good at flyball or something similar. He is slight and speedy and would benefit from an outlet for his energy. He fine to be left for short periods and is not destructive. Bruce loves everyone he meets and will make a wonderful companion. Bruce enjoys his walks and walks well on a lead. Bruce is not suitable to be re homed with children.
Bruce has been neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and had his teeth scaled and polished. Bruce has also had his nose done to allow for better air intake and to ensure he is as comfortable as possible. He is currently on foster in Aldershot Hampshire.
