Buddy is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross English Springer Spaniel. He is an extremely fit 7 year old. Buddy has come into the Sanctuary due to a bereavement. We had previously rehomed him but sadly ill health has bought him back into our care.
Buddy is in a foster home, living with a family of dogs, cats and horses. We have found him to be a sweet gentle and obedient boy. He is friendly to people of all ages, male and female. He has lived with children and enjoys their company. He is fantastic with other dogs too. He seems okay with cats, but apparently does bark at the if they keep staring at him, though I haven’t seen this.
Buddy is house trained and not destructive. He is a great traveler and settles happily in the car. He is used to having someone home all day and his preference would be a family who don’t have to leave him for hours everyday. He is such a well behaved chap he would be fine going into work , or snoozing in your home office. He loves his walks, he does pull on the lead when you set off, but soon settles and is fabulous off lead. Buddy makes friends everywhere he goes.
Due to the volume of calls we receive, to speed up your enquiry please make your initial enquiries by email. We will require you to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire before we can proceed.
