Buddy is a stunning brindle and white male, Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is approximately 14 months old. Buddy came into our care through no fault of his own. He came to us in a bad way with some horrific injuries to his neck and face. Buddy went to the vets early the morning after he arrived and was put on antibiotics and had to have his wounds cleaned twice a day. Buddy is now looking so much better, most of his cuts have healed and he is now so much brighter in himself.
Buddy very obviously hasn’t had the best start to life, he can be a little reserved when meeting new people (by this we mean he will walk up to you very slowly, but he still wants lots of cuddles and fuss). He is fine with other dogs, however we feel he would be best suited to living with a calm female dog or in a home on his own. Buddy is also currently living with cats and hasn’t shown any reaction towards them (he tends to ignore them).
Buddy is good with children, however we would recommend a home where any resident children are 8 plus years as once settled he can become a bouncy, playful puppy. Buddy would suit an active family, he walks really well on the lead and loves to be out and about on walks. However, he is very calm in the home but does have short bursts of play throughout the day.
Buddy is housetrained, crate trained, knows the basics, is fine to be left alone for a few hours and walks well on the lead. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flee’d & wormed up to date.
Please contact us if you feel you could give this boy his forever home.
