Buddy – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Homing Requirements: Buddy is a steady yet novice Staffie who needs direction and reassurance which he is so receptive to. He is good with children and could live with younger children with a dog experienced owner. Not for cats or small furries. Buddy could live with another dog and probably would benefit from this in supporting his skill development.
His Story: Buddy was found in a house arrest by the police, with 4 adults, no one claimed him. He was held for 6 months in kennels while the police tried to resolve the issue. He was transferred to ourselves and has shown himself to be appreciative of everything offered to him. He is now neutered, chipped and vax’d.

Advert: Buddy came into our care at the end of Nov 11 and it was like meeting a long lost treasured friend. Buddy had immediate bonding with all who walked him and rose to ‘Mr Popularity’ status. Buddy was then offered a Xmas fostering break with another Staffie, young children and cats. Buddy settled and rose to the occasion. He can get challenged by bouncy dogs off lead but is learning tolerance and to turn a blind eye. Buddy travels well in the car and is housetrained. He enjoys sharing the sofa with you and loves to sleep on the bed but may settle for less if that isn’t satisfactory for his family.

Buddy is a medium Staffie, dark brindle with flecks of gold in his coat, slightly longer legs. He always looks in stunning health, despite having been in kennels for over 8 months. The name Buddy so suits him in character. He has a warm steady temperament: he is a warm steady guy. He is easily discouraged from mouthing and has proved he can live with young dog savvy children. Buddy is a smoothie; he’ll keep you smiling just from having him around. Buddy has continued with this foster family as their weekend foster dog and his blog link below, on our forum, reveals his adventures and development given love, time and guidance.
