Buffy – 5 year old female Cross-Breed

Buffy is a 5 year old Cross-Breed girl who we’ve just learnt has terminal cancer – the vet has said she has up to 3 years to live but we really cannot say it could be 3 years it could also be 3 months. This little lass needs a special carer who is prepared to look after her for rest of her life however long this may be – the RSPCA will meet all her palliative care – we are either looking for someone to adopt her or take on her a foster so she does not spend the rest of her life in kennels.

We did have a foster home sorted out for Buffy but they had a very young dog and it kept on at Buffy to play she really does not want to and unfortunately she would not tell him off so he kept on, she would love a home where she has a couple of walks a day and then can sleep either on your lap or the bed she seems to be fine with other dogs but really needs a home with a quiet other dog or as an only dog.

A quiet household with someone around so she is not left hours on her own, someone who can make her the centre of the world for the short time she has left with maybe another male dog who will ignore her or as an only dog, she is friendly little girl and is good with people, her recall is good and she does not seem to be typical terrier in the way of hunting etc, she is also house trained. She has been in my car and travel well too, a really lovely girl.

She is in Gloucestershire, this is for the RSPCA she has been spayed and had all jabs.
