Buster is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is 10 years old. Buster lived all his life with one person and was devastated when his owner died. Relatives could not take him in as their dog did not like him, so he was home alone until we stepped in. He went into foster with 3 dogs, and was then rehomed with some elderly Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Unfortunately after 5 weeks there was a disagreement and Buster is now in kennels. We are desperately trying to find a forever home for him (or a foster home!). Buster is still entire on vet advice. No small furry creatures and we feel he would be best as an only dog, or possibly living with a calm female. Although Buster loves people of all ages he has developed the naughty habit of jumping up (which is being addressed) so older children only, no young ones.
Buster is a Sponsor Dog although he is fit and healthy we know that vet bills for an older dog can be a worry, so BABS will cover any medical bills due to illness, the new owner will only cover the routine vaccinations, flea and worm treatment etc, and any bills due to injury. There is a nominal donation to adopt him on this scheme, whichcan be discussed.
If you can help Buster either with a permanent home or a foster home please apply using the form on our website.
