Buster – 7 year old male English Bull Terrier Cross

Buster is a 7 year old male English Bull Terrier cross. This strikingly handsome boy has a very sad tale to tell. Buster has been on our waiting list for over a year, his owner rescued him when he was 11 months old from people who were abusing him. For the past 6 years Buster has been loved and doted on but sadly the lady’s husband developed Dementia and the situation in the house became difficult as a result. Through no fault of his own Buster had to be confined to the kitchen and back garden, whilst the lady of the house is heartbroken to have to part with him under the current circumstances this is the best thing for Buster.

We are glad that we are finally been in a position that we have been able to take Buster in here at the rescue and have so far found him to be a very sweet-natured boy. As you can imagine things are very confusing for Buster at the moment, he doesn’t understand where he is or where his family has gone. He is quite clingy to all of the staff and doesn’t want to be left alone. He is extremely affectionate and greets everyone he meets with bags of enthusiasm. We have all fallen in love with him already!

Buster walks well on the lead, but can be strong when he is distracted by something. He will need an adult only home as he can be lively and bouncy. We were told that Buster used to be really good with other dogs but unfortunately he has not been walked in the home for at least a year. Therefore he will need to be the only pet. He does not like cats. This stunning boy will make such a loyal and devoted companion.
