Buster is a 4 year old male English Cocker Spaniel. Buster came to us via another rescue as an owner relinquishment due to behavior including biting which we have not witnessed nor has it even been a concern that he would bite. All we have seen is a bored , over weight and under stimulated dog. Buster is a lively 4 year old Cocker spaniel who’s best described as ball mad, Buster just loves tennis balls if you had the patience to throw a ball for him all day he would chase it all day, he will also happily play “find” with his ball. He shows no guarding tendencies towards his ball or anything else and will happily give it up, if another dog steals it he shows no aggression he just looks very sad that his precious ball has gone. He is currently sleeping in a crate and does sometimes bark and whine when first put in it, Buster is very vocal when he wakes in the morning – this is Buster letting you know he’s recharged and ready for another day.
Buster is a typical Cocker he’s lively and playful he loves people but would be best with older or no children. He would like another young dog to play with but would be happy as an only dog if he had human company most of the day. He has shown little interest in our cats or chickens but would possibly chase given the chance. Buster would be fantastic at agility or flyball and this would give him a focus for his energy. Buster is a few kilo’s overweight with increased exercise and the right food he is slowly slimming down his new owners would need to continue with this to ensure he gets to and maintains the correct weight.
Buster is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, wormed and flead and is in foster in North Warwickshire. Adoption subject to meet and greet, homecheck and adoption donation of £200. Applications via forms section of website please.
