Buzz is a 12 month old male Cross-Breed. Well every time we do a trip to Spain there is always one dog you fall in love with just that little bit more and this trip it was this special boy. This boy was saved from a Spanish Pound earlier this year and is being fostered by a friend of ours who helps with Little Starfish in Spain Aunty Sherlie, he was skin and bone when he first arrived and was so weak he had to go on a drip with Aunty Sherlie’s love and care this boy has blossomed into the most stunning boy, he is under another organisation but so far no news of a home. When I was round Aunty Sherlies for dinner this boy just kept snuggling up to me does not take much to win me over and I agreed to take him home with me for a few days while in Spain so I could get to know him better which would help find him a home.
Not too sure to begin with, with the stairs but we soon got passed that, he was such a pleasure to have, he settled down extremely quickly, he is a bit of a sleepy head and loved just laying on the sofa and relaxing never heard a peep out of him at night but he sneaked in in the morning for cuddles then refused to get up. He was clean and so calm to have around just loved him.
I took him out, I did not let him off the lead but Sherlie has had him off the lead with no problems. He is a bit of a wimp bless him and was not sure about the harness to begin with but again he got used to it very quickly and he walked beautiful on the lead its like he has been trained to heel but I think its more he is just naturally just good on the lead.
Out and about you could tell he was nervous not enough to freak but just cautious lots of things he has probably not seen but we sat on the sea front watching the world go by and he gets his confidence from you – it will take time but not long for him to get used to things, different noises etc – was not scared of traffic.
He has the most lovely gentle nature and if I had the space for another dog I would home him in a heart beat, I do love all the dogs we have for rehoming but him just that little bit more but do not tell the others. He is a very gentle dog and would benefit from a quiet active home. who will let him on the sofa. I made loads of videos of our time together which will give you more of an idea, he lives with lots of other dogs with no problem but he would be fine as an only dog.
Buzz has been neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped, blood tested and will have his own Pet Passport – if you are interested in rehoming him please email us for questionnaire in the first instance.
