Cabbage – 5 month old female Boxer Cross

Hello my name is Cabbage, I’m a 5 month old, female Boxer cross. I originally came to The Mayhew as a young puppy after I was found in a park; both my ears had been sliced off and I had a deep wound on my tail from an attempted docking. Not only that, but severe malnourishment had left my front legs deformed. After months of veterinary care and plenty of TLC I am now ready to find my new home.

I’m a typical lively and playful puppy who needs a lot of attention. I’m very affectionate, crave company, and I love having my tummy stroked. I’m also very inquisitive and into everything. I am good with other dogs and children and could live with sensible older children.

I’m looking for a new home with someone who will make sure I gets two gentle thirty minute off-lead socialisation walks in the park per day while young, building up to one to two hours of off lead exercise daily once fully grown and will take me to training classes. My new guardians will be taking on a fifteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.

Hope to see you soon, Cabbage x
