Carlton – 10 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Carlton is an adorable Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross puppy about 10 months old who has had a deprived life so far and not had a family to love and care for him. Although he has never been badly treated by people, he has been cooped up and not been taken out and about to see new sights and sounds or meet new people and dogs. He is desperate for affection and people to take him for walks and training.
He is not yet a year old and is very much still a puppy in his attitude so will need a lot of time and patience. Carlton would love a family home with older teenage children, someone around most of the day and experienced dog handlers who understand about socialising dogs to new situations. Owners need to be fit and active and able to take him a lot of walks. He is a small dog, a lot smaller than a normal Staffordshire Bull Terrier so would suit a smaller house or bungalow. However a secure garden fence of at least 6 foot high is recommended.
Carlton must be housed indoors as a family pet and not outside in a kennel. The rewards with this dog will be tremendous as he is so loyal and loving and the sense of achievement you will get when he improves and becomes a happier relaxed boy. Carlton needs a second chance.
