Carmen and Roxy – 1 year old female Cross-Breeds

Carmen and Roxy are two utterly adorable 1 year old medium sized Cross-Breeds. Carmen is a medium sized 1-year old bitch. Carmen is very dog friendly and seems okay with cats too but this has not been hevaily tested. Carmen is a bit shy around people initially but comes round quickly. She is short haired and very pretty! Carmen is okay on the lead but and travels well in the car. Carmen has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, de-fleaded.

*Update from foster Mum*

Carmen is really playful, likes walks but can be nervous if their is alot of activity going on, just needs to be taken gently until she is used to noises of traffic etc. Gets on fine with the other dogs, her and Ellie have played non-stop, she also plays with little Gracie and despite her size over Gracie is very gentle. There have been some random arguments between Carmen & Roxy but more noise than anything else. Once you tell them both NO they stop instantly. There doesn’t seem to have been a reason for these scuffles but they are not serious. There can be possesive over food and also their beds (bless!) but I am sure these will pass once they feel secure. Its just to warn any prospective adopters not to be alarmed if they do this and that they love each other really!

*Update from Foster Mum*

Roxy is an absolute sweetheart! She is timid but not silly nervous, you can approach her. It takes about 5 seconds then for her to fall in love, she just loves to be stoked and made a fuss of. She is so funny because when she thinks your not looking she becomes all playful and puppy, I caught her running off with my wooden Giraffe! She also plays with all the other dogs or though given the choice of playing or being cuddled she would choose cuddles everytime! She too enjoys walking and surprisingly is less nervous outside than Carmen?

Roxy is slightly smaller than Carmen (small-medium in size) and longer-haired. Being sisters she is also around 1-year old. Roxy is very dog friendly and seems okay with cats too but this has not been hevaily tested. Roxy is more confident than Carmen. Roxy is okay on the lead but and travels well in the car. Roxy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, de-fleaded.

Roxy

We think Roxy and Carmen would suit a more adult home or where children are 12+ years old. She would thrive in a semi-active environment and we are looking to rehome them together. Can you offer these pretty ladies their forever homes?

*Update*

Both girls are eating well, the desperate race to get it down their necks in 2 seconds flat is going now and they are alot more relaxed when eating now. I do seperate them from my other dogs when they eat as I still feel there could be an argument if not. It would be nice to see them go together as they have been together for so long but if the right homes came up seperately for them I think they would be fine to be honest. I am sure they would initially be confused but they are so different I think they would both adapt well. Carmen I think would benefit from a home with another dog as she is so playful but Roxy would probably be ok without if needs be, equally she would also be happy with another dog.
