Cashew is a 4 year old Corgi cross who is a striking little guy with half blue eyes and half brown eyes. He was taken out of a kennel facility and as a result is very shut down. He is however incredibly loving and does crave affection and companionship from humans. He is very very shy when he first meets people and will panic in new situations so his new owner must be prepared to put measures in place to keep him safe.
Such as crating him when travelling as he finds this very stressful and allowing him to approach people at his own pace rather than pushing him to interact. We haven’t started lead training Cashew as we have been working on successfully rehabilitating him in a home environment. He’s coming along great in the home but outside the home he will require further work and his new adopters must be aware this could take time.
Cashew is good with cats and dogs. He is doing well with his housetraining, is quiet and well mannered in the home and doesn’t mind being left for small durations of time. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and will be subject to a homecheck and adoption donation.
Cashew will also come with 4 weeks free insurance and a voucher for a box of free food.
