Polo – 5 year old male Akita
This is Polo, a handsome 5 year old Akita boy looking for a new home due to a change in his home circumstances. Polo is a big lad, devoted to his owners, however his recent lack of devotion to the resident cats has led to an upset household. Initially wary of strangers, it took Polo a little while to fully relax in the company of our assessor, but after a short amount of time he began to seek out treats and attention. Whilst very affectionate and adoring with his owners; Polo can be aloof, and prefers to get to know people before they approach him in an overly affectionate manner! Very intelligent, Polo has a good knowledge of commands, and has been well trained in this respect by his owners. Good with treats, our assessor found that Polo knew how to accept, and has not shown overt signs of food aggression. Walked regularly by his Mum at the side of a pram, Polo is equally happy going for a nice jog with his Dad! Polo is keen to be around other dogs, and pending successful introductions could potentially live with another dog.
Polo will require an incredibly experienced owner, who is willing and able to commit time to his further training.For more information about Polo, please get in touch. Polo is based in Northamptonshire.

Winston is a 3-4 year old male American Bulldog and he is a gentle giant! He is a big strong boy who loves nothing more than chilling with you on the sofa! He has a great personality and makes a wonderful companion. He is castrated.
In the past he has lived with cats and children. He gets on with most dogs with careful introduction but would be better off as an only dog. He does pull on the lead to start with but soon settles down.
Winston has had a few homes and it is important that the next one is his last. He is in foster in Essex.

Jack is a 4 year old male Terrier Cross and he is a little star! He is such an affectionate little fella and loves nothing more than curling up on your lap. He is housetrained and well mannered around the house.
Buster – 2-3 year old male American Bulldog
Buster is a 2-3 year old American Bulldog. Buster is such a big baby, he is so friendly with dogs, cats and children too. He is clean and quiet around the house. He is very overweight at the moment and for his own good is on a strict diet and exercise regime. He is fully vaccinated and neutered.
Phoenix – 4 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Phoenix is a lovely, long haired, 4 year old German Shepherd Dog, she is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Phoenix gets on well with the two cats that she lives with, unfortunately she dosen’t appear to like other dogs and this is why she is being re-homed. Phoenix has an enormous character, is very active and quite well trained, apart from when other dogs are around.
Phoenix’s owner does admit that she may not be assertive enough with Phoenix regarding the dog issue and this may be something that could be worked on. Phoenix is still to be fully assessed and we will update on her in due course.
Scruffy – 2-3 year old female Terrier Cross
Dear little Scruffy is a 2-3 year old female Terrier Cross who has only been with us for a short time but since her arrival has been quick to make pals with her easy manner together with her natural friendliness and is just so grateful for being given a second chance. It hasn’t taken Scruffy long to recognise familiar faces and always displays a friendly greeting, wagging her tail eagerly as if to say “Please choose me”!
Scruffy is fully house-trained and has previously lived with children and other dogs. Nothing seems to bother Scruffy as she is happy just to “be” and all that is needed to make her happy is companionship and a warm basket to call her own. Situated South East England, Hertfordshire.

This is Coco, a gorgeous and sweet 3 year old Akita girl looking for a new home following the death of her owner. A happy girl, Coco greeted our assessor with a big cuddle, and instantly started to sniff out treats! Currently being looked after in kennels, Coco has made a firm impression on all who have met her so far, leading them all to fall head over heels. Impeccable on the lead, Coco seemed excited to be out for a walk and was keen to sniff everything. Gentle with treats, Coco has not displayed any signs of food aggression or possession whilst in kennels. Coco does not appear to have a good knowledge of commands, however she is quite treat motivated and eager to please, which should assist with training in her new home.
Due to the limited background knowledge that we have for Coco, she will not be placed in a family with young children. Coco has not been directly tested with other dogs at present; however she has not shown to have any issues walking past other dogs in kennels. Poor Dino was left abandoned tied to a lamppost in the snow. Dino is approximately 4 yrs old and he is truly a little gentleman. He is great with other dogs, children and loves travelling in the car. He is small in size. He is a really sweet natured dog and deserves a family of his own.
Danny – 4 year old male Dobermann cross Rottweiler
This is Danny he is a 4 year old Dobermann cross Rottweiler and what a handsome lad he is. Danny loves people he much prefers a person to another dog. He walks really nicely on the lead and is a good calm boy.
Danny would like to be an only dog he would like a person to love all for himself . Could you be the new love in Danny’s life?
