Heidi – 10 month old female Bichon Frise
Heidi is a 10 month old Bichon Frise bitch. She has had a lovely wash, brush up and trim and is a little poppet. Heidi has lived with other dogs, cats and children. She was initially a little scared in the kennels, but has settled nicely in her current foster home. Her new owner will need to ensure she is regularly groomed to prevent knots again spoiling her lovely coat.
Rags and Sam – 8 year old male and female Deerhound Crosses
Rags (girl – brindle) and Sam (boy – fawn) are 8 year old deerhound crosses. They have come into rescue due to a marriage break down. They have been very well cared for and much loved. As sighthound can sometimes be, Sam is quite a vocal boy and Rags can be a little talkative too. They are totally adoarble, house trained & travel well but true to there breed they are NOT good with cats or smaller furries.
Angel – 15 month old female Collie Cross
Angel is 15 months old collie cross female. She is very sweet natured, likes other dogs, not seen cats but could be ok and already house trained.
Sox – 7 month old female Jack Russell Terrier cross Patterdale Terrier
This is the little adorable Soxs. Soxs is a 7 month old JRT cross Patterdale pup. Soxs has come to us as her owner has to return to full time work and feels its not fair to leave soxs at home all day on her own.
Soxs is a small ( she looks bigger in the photos ) busy girl, who has lived with another dog and older children. Sox’s is house trained, travels well in the car and is non destrcutive. She also isn’t a yappy dog.
Soxs will chew her lead a little when being walked so will need a harness and a lead that is metal for some of the length ( she just gets excited ). Sox’s will make a fantastic little dog for someone, she would love to be part of a busier household.
Can you offer this sweet friendly girl the home she needs ?

Meet Coco, our lovely puppy lab owned by an elderly couple who could not cope with him. We do not think he has even been let off the lead well. Coco has been loved but is how you can imagine a dog which has had very little exercise or training – when he was first let off the lead he did not know what do with himself he kept running around and coming back as if to say LOOK I am off the lead he was so excited and happy he really is a lovely dog. Coco is looking for an active home without little children as he will knock them over someone to put some time and training into him and not a full time worker – Coco is extremely well bred and although we will not passing on any papers both his parents were hip, eye & elbow tested.
Kirby – 11 month old male Retriever Cross
Kirby is a lovely 11 month old male black Retriever Cross. He is very affectionate, loveable and deserving of a fabulous home. He is good with other dogs and people. He could live with older resident children. Kirby has been neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed and deflead. Kirby is in foster in East Sussex.
Poppy – 16-18 week old female Whippet cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
This is the adorable Poppy. Poppy is a 16/18 week old Whippet cross Staffie puppy who was found dumped and abandoned in the middle of a park on a cold wet night. She is dog, cat and child friendly. Despite this Poppy is happy, friendly, and loves everyone. She is in a foster home with 2 other dogs, and children and loves them all.
Poppy would love a home with another friendly dog, and someone who is around most of the time to continue her training. Poppy will need to be spayed when old enough and we will need proof this has been done.

Can you offer this sweet little girl the home she deserves ?
26Jan2012 | Ravenswood Rescue Cambridgeshire | READ MOREBenji – 8 year old male English Cocker Spaniel
Benji is an 8 year old red English Cocker Spaniel (neutered) who came into care through no fault of his own. He gets on well with other dogs and children and has given the foster team no cause for concern since his arrival in the New Year. He is house trained, crate trained and only pulls a bit on the lead however his recall will need a little work.
Benji is not territorial and while he gets on well with other dogs he is not a big player or particularly interested in toys. This older gent is a happy, relaxed and easy going dog who is people orientated. Benji does like company and would be most comfortable a quite household.
25Jan2012 | RSPCA Reading with Oxon Borders | READ MORETammy – 2 year old female Terrier Cross
This sweet little girl is Tammy, a Terrier crossbreed of 2 years of age. Tammy is a friendly girl, she hasn’t got a nasty bone in her body and she loves to sit with her human companions and share a cuddle or watch TV. She is currently fostered in Nottinghamshire where she has been a good girl, she is used to people being around most of the day so we are looking for a home where she wouldn’t be left on her own too long, she is housetrained.

Tammy likes to play with her toys and she does enjoy going for her walks. She gets along well with other dogs well and is a sociable girl.

Could you offer Tammy the forever home she is looking for? If so please contact Lynda on 07878572343 or Julie on 07738638091 or email info@dunroamin-k9rescue.org.uk
24Jan2012 | Dunroamin K9 Rescue | READ MOREBen – 5 year old male Labrador
This handsome boy is Ben, a 5 year old Golden Labrador. Ben is a loving boy, he is happiest when he is laid at your feet or having a cuddle on the sofa, he would need a home where there is someone around a good proportion of the day as he does crave human companionship, therefore he would not be suitable for a full time working family.
Currently fostered in Derbyshire, Ben is he living with two other dogs whom he gets along with fine. He can be a bit bouncy so would not be suitable for a home with young children as he could potentially knock them over. He is not suitable to be rehomed where there are cats. His lead work has improved since his recent arrival in his foster home, he does still get a little giddy at first but soon settles down and trots happily at your side. He is housetrained and non destructive. Ben loves his food and is currently a few kilos overweight so his new family with need to be prepared to continue helping him re-find his waist line with a good diet and plenty of exercise, he loves to play and to interact so Ben does need a relatively active home.

Ben knows his down, sit and paw commands and will often sit at your feet and put his paw on your knee, a lovely endearing trait. Ben is microchipped and vaccinated and has already been neutered. Can you offer this special lad the stability of a forever home? If you think so please contact Lynda on 07878572343 or Julie on 07738638091 or email info@dunroamin-k9rescue.org.uk
