Fudge – 18 month old male Labrador

Meet the wonderful and handsome fudge. Fudge is an 18 month old yellow Labrador. Fudge came to us for rehoming as he was no longer wanted by his owner! She didnt want the dog hairs anymore :( Fudge has the most wonderful temerament, He has lives with children and cats, and is good with other dogs.

Fudge walks lovely on the lead, sits when asked, and is housetrained and non destructive. This boy is just adorable and how anyone wouldn’t want him anymore is beyond me, however their loss is really someone else gain.

We would love a home for Fudge where he gets regular exercise as he is a little over weight, and now he’s been neutered he will have to make sure he dosen’t get to fat.

Can you offer this wonderful family dog the home he deserves ?

Angel – 4 year old female Jack Russell Terrier

Angel is a JR, female, about 4 years old. Angel has only been here for 48 hours but in that short time we have seen such a change in her. She has become brave, trusting and incredibly funny. She loves to play with Daisy the Cavalier, they chase around the room or the garden together and then fall sound asleep on the sofa. Angel sometimes goes backwards with little hops and it is impossible not to laugh at her. She looks like a little Bambi. We are not JRT people really but to know Angel is to love her and we certainly do. This dear little dog would be equally happy in practically any situation either as a lap dog or out on a farm. She got to grips with her harness and lead almost immediately and walks really nicely. All she wants and deserves is a lovely forever home of her own as soon as possible.

The Donation for Angel is £150.

Gus – 2 year old male Collie cross Samoyed

Gus is a wonderful friendly Collie cross Samoyed boy. He is about 2 years old. We saved him from being put down at the pound. His owner no long wanted him and wanted to swop him for a puppy. Goodness knows why as he is a remarkable dog in almost every way. Gus sleeps very well at night, not a peep out of him. He is very relaxed both in the house and out in the garden. He is not a barker and he is very good with other dogs and people. He travels extremely well in the car and loves his walks.

I have let him off the lead over the fields where it is safe from roads where he is quite happy, but just a little bit aloof so a bit more training would be advisable here on recall, however it has never posed a problem to me so far as he is very good with other dogs and will come back too. The only problem with Gus is he is not so good with cats. If you research the Samoyed breed they are an excellent dog with a very good nature and this has certainly come out in Gus. It has created a very calm and loving and very loyal dog with a beautiful coat and markings.

Gus is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and wormed.

We are looking for a loving forever home for Gus where someone is willing to keep his coat in good order, he was exceptionally well behaved when I washed and dried him and who will give him a good walk every day. He is being fostered in Waltham Abbey, J26 of M25 and we are looking to re-home him in or area this area or neighbouring counties.

If you are interested in giving this wonderful boy a fantastic home please fill out an adoption form on www.leavalleydogrescue.co.uk or phone Jackie on 07857604365 who will be able to tell you more about him or Yasmina on 07815547667 eves.

Wendy – 2 year old female Rottweiler

Wendy is a young 2 year old Rottweiler who needs a family who have managed a large dog before. Wendy was found stray and unclaimed. She was taken in by a rescue centre who spayed, vaccinated and microchipped her and gave her into our care. To love Wendy is so easy. She is welcoming, trusting and almost holds your hand in all you do together. She is pully on the lead but at the same time relates to you as part of the adventure that involves her walk. She is generally dog friendly but as with puppy dogs, which she still is, she is still learning to settle on meeting.

She is a little pully on the lead so needs instruction and further training. Requires a secure garden and a lifestyle that is inclusive and centred around her needs, as a large young dog. Could live with children but adult always managing her lead.

Wendy is a good looker. She smiles a lot, despite her current predicament caught up in a kennelled life.

Wendy is looking for a foster place, but of course would prefer her very own family who can support her and offer her ongoing training to develop her skills further. No girl like Wendy should have the indignity of kennels!

***PLEASE NOTE: Rescue Remedies is a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.

Trevor and Simon – 12 month old male Retrievers

Please say a big hello to Trevor and a gentle hello to Simon are approx 12 month old brothers that are inseparable. They were hand in at the dog pound no longer wanted and discarded. Trevor is more like a Retriever he is the more confident one of the two. Simon is the more nervous and will not go anywhere without Trevor at the sanctuary where they are staying they stick together, eat together and sleep together they really do love each other and it would especially break Trevor’s heart to separate them so we are going to try our best to find them a home together before we try and home them separately.

These two do not have a bad bone in their bodies. They are very sweet and loving, great with other dogs, they seem to be house trained but we cannot promise they may need a bit of work to begin with. They have also not had much training and are not great on the lead as they are not used to one, they are both beautiful stunning dogs with the most lovely natures and they need somebody with time and patience to turn them into the dogs they should have been by now and give them the life they should have had.

Patch – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

This is Patch, a handsome black and white male staffy. He is 2 years old and has the nicest temperament. He was returned to the RSPCA recently, through no fault of his own (changing family circumstances) and now deserves a permanent, loving, forever home. Everyone who walks him I’d impressed with his calm, easy going nature.
