Twiglet and Doodles – 3 year old Chihuahaha Cross
Please meet Twiglet and Doodles! These 3 year old gorgeous Chihuahaha Cross brothers are in rescue through absolutely no fault of their own. Twiglet and doodles have lived with children, another dog and cats and they love everyone they meet! They are full of fun and character and love cuddles and play times. They have both been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are not 100% housetrained so new owners must take this into consideration and been prepared to spend a little time rectifying this. Briar – 2 year old male Trailhound
This gentle boy is Briar. He is a Trailhound and he is 2 years old, he has come to us from a working home and was unwanted as he wasn’t good at his job! Briar obviously hasn’t had a very nice life so far and has been mistreated. He is very nervous and scared of most things, therefore we feel he would benefit from a quieter home with a lovely family who are prepared to invest time into raising his confidence levels and showing him that life is good. Briar appears to be dog friendly and would maybe benefit from a home with another dog to show him the ropes, but this isn’t essential. Briar is a special boy and if you feel you could be the new start that he so desperately needs we would love to hear from you. He is currently in boarding kennels in South Yorkshire.

Daxter – 1-2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier cross Dachshund
Daxter is a 1-2 year old male Jack Russel Cross Dachshund. Daxter came in to the rescue as a un-claimed stray. A great example to other dogs, loves affection and will come looking for hugs. Never pushy, this one is definitely a keeper (he’s actually going to be hard to give up!) Daxter is great with other dogs, children over the age of 12, good to be left for up to 4 hours, he is not good with small animals and he does pull on the lead, however with training classes i think this could improve as he is a intelligent boy.

Nikko – 14/16 month old male Labrador
Nikko is a lovely 14/16 month old Labrador boy. He is more like a Sandringham lab, shorter legs, and larger head. Nikko is a wonderful boy, He walks well on the lead, He loves his walks, and is a steady well beahved boy. Nikko seems fine with other dogs, and travels well in the car. Nikko would like a home where he gets the exercise he enjoys.
Daisy – 4 month old female Border Collie
This is the beautiful Daisy. Daisy is a 4 month old Border Collie Puppy. Daisy is sweet, gentle and very loving, She can be a little shy with new things at first, but with a little reassurance her tail is wagging. Daisy is good with other dogs, and could live with cats too. Daisy travels well in the car and is starting to walk really well on the lead. She is a lovely little girl, who longs for her own home. Daisy would like someone around a fair amount of the time to continue
her training.
Sid – 1-2 year old male Stadfforshire Bull Terrier
Please meet Sid who may possibly be the most gorgeous and loving dog in the world! He has the most amazing character and literally loves everyone and everything he meets! Sid originally was found as a stray and ended up on death row in a pound but was saved by a small rescue who took him in. Unfortunately he spent the next year of his life in a kennel as the rescue received absolutely no interest in him and when asked if we would step in and take him on to avoid them putting him to sleep through lack of space..we agreed. Sid now spends his days with us running around at the sanctuary with numerous other dogs of all shapes and sizes and he adores them and is great with our ducks, chickens and geese.
No more days locked in a kennel for this perfect gentleman! Sid has quickly become a favorite with everyone here with his cheerful and enthusiasts greetings for everyone he meets! Sid is walked off lead with many other dogs and has a great recall. He has spent time with my four year old daughter and loves her! When introduced to my cats sid the sissy was a bit worried and tended to avoid them. Sid sleeps at night in a large group of dogs and will wait to be let out in the morning to toilet. Sid is a really loving and loyal dog and he greets me like a long lost friend even if ive only been away for an hour! i absolutely love and adore this gorgoeus pooch and i whilst i will be so very sad to see him leave – i know how much happiness he will bring to his new home and how much he deserves a home and a family to call his own.
Sid loves other dogs and would love to live with another dog in his new home. Or to be adopted with one of his friends here at the sanctuary. He could live with cats as long as he has an owner to protect him from the scary creatures that purr. Sid can live with children aged 6 and over…he would be a little too enthusiastic and clumsy for smaller children. Sid is around 18 months old, and has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We think he is a lab staffy cross.
