Ren – 10 year old male Basenji Cross

Ren is a small (7 kg) male cross breed – probably partly Basenji or Shiba Inu. He is fully vaccinated and is neutered. His present owner writes “Ren is in excellent health and is very fit and active. He is happy and low maintenance as long as his basic daily needs are met: walks, food and play time. Ren is housetrained and has been left for short periods. He cannot live in a home with cats.

Ren has been a loving, loyal, obedient and fun pet and came back from Australia with us when we returned to live in Norwich. However he has not adjusted to our son, who is now a year old. He has become increasingly unhappy living with a baby, hence our reluctant need to find him a new home. Ren’s reaction has surprised us given the fact he has previously lived with children aged 5 and over without any problems.

It is with great sadness that we are having to find a new home for Ren, but he deserves a good and happy life and this is not happening whilst he is living with a baby.”

Ren is with his owners in Norwich.
