Storm is a 2 year old male Border Collie, Storm has had a bad start, he has no confidence and is extremely shy. We have not experienced any aggression towards either humans or dogs. Storm is looking for a very special home. Someone who understands how to appreciate the companionship that Storm can give at the same time allowing him space and time to gain his confidence. Ideally someone experienced with collies.

Max is a 9 month old male Border Collie. He is a lovely dog and has a great temperament, he loves people and other dogs. Max has been around young children without any problems. His current owners have had a change in their work circumstances and are unable to give him the time he deserves.

He is a typical young border collie who will need lots of exercise and stimulation, he would be fine living with another dog as all he wants to do is play. He is fully vaccinated and will be neutered before he is re-homed. Please do not ring if you work full-time or have young children.

Squiggles is a 5 months old brown short coated Border Collie. He is a little shy but wants badly to be friends with everyone. He is ok with other dogs and also cats though may be a bit too lively for an older cat to cope with. Home needed with someone experienced with this breed and is prepared for a very lively youngster in the house.

Gorgeous George is the name and I’m a 2 year old Border Collie. I was brought in because my owner had to move into ‘no pet accommodation’. I was underweight and the guys here have managed to get 2kg on me, but I still need to gain more. I’m a very friendly lad who is looking for a nice, quiet rural home with lots of TLC.

Dusty is a 1 year old male Border Collie who has come into rescue due to his elderly owner becoming too poorly to look after him. Look at this fantastic boy…how intelligent does he look? Dusty has lived as a companion dog and must be really missing his owner and home comforts poor boy. He has a lovely temperament, is extremely friendly and eager to please and could make a fantastic agility dog, or something similar. He could possibly live with another dog and has been living happily with 2 cats. He could live with children aged 8 or older. He could be left for a few hours a day if necessary, travels well and is housetrained.

Dusty is a good all round dog and will make a smashing addition to an active family. Dusty is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and, although at our Centre on the outskirts of King’s Lynn in Norfolk, he can be rehomed outside of the county, within reason, subject to a successful homecheck.

Please can you make Dusty happy again? He would love a couple of good walks a day at the woods or the at the beach and somewhere cosy to sleep it all off please! If you are interested in Dusty please get in touch as soon as possible.

My name is Fergus and I am a 10 month old Border Collie. I am almost blind and need a very special home. I am extremely friendly and affectionate and ask constantly for cuddles and reassurance. I walk well on the lead but do bump into things a lot! I can become frightened of noises which I cannot understand. I am wary of other dogs because I cannot see them and I am really looking for a home where I will be the only pet.

I need experienced, patient owners who have lots of time and energy as I am a lively boy! I am lots of fun and will make a wonderful pet to own. I am suitable to live with children over 16.

Diva is a very pretty, bright-eyed, alert, small-to-medium-sized 2 year old Border Collie, with wavy, feathery fur. At the moment she is very traumatised and frightened in kennels and needs time to adjust, with experienced people working at giving her reassurance. She took treats from us but as soon as this stopped she became very frightened again. She is a beautiful collie, with expressive and quite large, striking eyes. She must have experienced suffering and a very hard life before she was rescued by Dogsfriends.

She absolutely loves playing with the ball on a rope and it was so lovely to see her enjoying herself as a normal, happy, enthusiastic, lively, agile and playful collie – not wanting to stop. She does all the classic Border Collie things with ball and was quite happy to have it taken from her mouth – on those few occasions when she didn’t drop at your feet and push it to you with her nose. She took treats gently, and jumped up for the ball, happy to be near our hands. She was not bothered when she was stroked while she was playing. She will make someone a delightful collie companion. She is quite young still – and her coat looks in good condition. She obviously loves a game and some exercise, and when she gets settled in a good home she would enjoy agility and obedience activities. She is very bright-eyed and alert. She was quite easy to handle on the lead.
