Boxer Cross
Archie - 10 month old male English Bull Terrier cross Boxer
Please meet Archie, a English Bull Terrier cross Boxer male aged approximately 10 months old. Sandy in colour with white markings. He is a medium sized boy who is very friendly and bouncy! Manchester Dogs Home chipped and homed him in October 2007. His owner knew that he was in a stray kennels but didn’t want him back, poor, poor boy!
We have neutered, vaccinated and assessed Archie and he is now looking for his new forever home. Could that be with you?

Bailey is a Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier male aged approximately 5 months old. He has not shown any aggression to any dog apart from Butch my American Bulldog, but I am told by Bailey that Butch started it! He need to find a home urgently, can you offer him a new home?
He is such a gorgeous dog and this photograph does him no justice at all, but some dogs just aren’t photogenic! He is great with people, could live with older children (he is very bouncy) would mix well with other dogs and really needs somewhere to go now. He was picked up as a stray and never claimed. Bailey will need to be vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped.

Hello everyone, my name is Bryn, I am a 4 year old Boxer cross and I am a gorgeous little boy. I will do any thing to please you and I can even do some tricks. I have just passed my Bronze Good Citizens Award as I am so well behaved. My previous owners never gave me much attention or love so I became very good at jumping the fence, looking for somebody to love me.
I am sure if the right family came along and showed me lots of love I will stop doing my Houdini routine! I am extremely good with children and I think you will all agree I am one handsome brute! I would benefit from lots of exercise as I have lots of energy and I love to play games.
I am so well behaved and all the staff at the Home have fallen in love with me. I am already house-trained and I am very intelligent so we can have lots of fun together learning new tricks. I am okay with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the house as I really need a bit of a fuss made of me; I haven’t really had a brilliant start to life. However, I have very high hopes about my future. All my love and kisses, Bryn.

Alfie is a neutered male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer who is approximately 3 years old. He isn’t good with children because he’s a bit too boisterous and can be unpredictable. He doesn’t get on with other dogs and he may have lived with cats before but he tries to chase them here at the sanctuary! He is a friendly boy but he doesn’t like being on a lead and will need an experienced owner.
Bertha - 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer

Ben
This is the lovely Ben, a 7-8 year old neutered Boxer cross male . He was picked up as a stray and found himself in rescue kennels through no fault of his own. Ben is a lovely friendly dog. He is very fit and enjoys long walks.

He needs a kind home where he will be treated as a family member and get lots of cuddles and attention. He would be fine with children age 10 plus as little ones might be too noisy for him. Please consider giving this lovely lively lad a second chance - look at that gorgeous face.
Ben is being kennelled at the Great Dane Rescue for The Doris Banham Sanctuary. For more information please call Joy by telephoning 01205 481248 (Boston).

Please meet Dex who is a Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 8 months old and a lap cuddle monster. He has not had the socialisation/walking as he should have and will need some lead work. He is fine with bigger dogs bit grumpy with the pups in his foster home (but who can really blame him sometimes).
He is not good with cats although with an experienced owner with time and patience is still young enough to learn to live with them. He is crate trained but can not be left on own for more than a couple of hours as he just loves to be with humans. He is not suited to a multi-dog household but would be okay with another dog.
He needs an active family who will help stimulate him and not leave on own for hours on end. He is willing and eager to please and just needs someone to show him the ropes. Dex will need a secure garden and a new owner who is willing to attend some basic training classes with him.
He is looking for an active family with older children and where will not be left on own for more than a couple of hours. He’s being fostered in Kent. He’s vaccinated, deflead, wormed, micro-chipped and insured.

Boston is a 6 year old Boxer cross male. Sadly, Boston hasn’t had the best of starts in life and is now looking for a special adult who is kind but experienced with larger breeds.
He is neutered, and loves playing ball games, but would need to be an only pet.
Dolly
Dolly is a 3 year old Boxer cross who has been waiting a long time and would love to be in a home. She is very affectionate, likes to sit on your lap and will bowl you over with love! Dolly also loves her bed! She is a strong dog but is very trainable.

It would be a very rewarding experience to bring out the best in Dolly and she certainly has a great deal to offer. Dolly just needs to be loved. She would suit a family without young children, as an only pet. Please give her the chance she deserves.

Nico is a 2 year old red Brindle Boxer cross, he is a lovely but strong neutered male dog who is looking for a new home.
Because Nico is a boisterous chap, it would be best if his new owners had a little previous experience with strong chaps like him. Older children (teenage upwards) would also be preferable to young toddlers.
