Boxer Cross
Hooch – 18 month old male Boxer cross Bull Mastiff
Hooch arrived with us from the stray pound where he was due to be put to sleep. He is only about 18 months old and is still like a gangly pup. He is just a big cuddly wrinkly ball of gorgeousness who loves everyone he meets. He needs his boy bits off as although he is good with other dogs he just gets a little bit too over ‘excited’ but this will calm down once he is castrated. Due to having NO history on Hooch we will not home him with any young children.

He is a Boxer cross Bullmastiff (boxer body bullmastiff head!) and is just a big gentle giant! He will do anything for a treat, sit paw, high five! He got so much fuss and attention because he is just so gorgeous ♥ Hooch is NOT good with cats or other small animals!

Lenny – 1 year old female Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Homing Requirements: Lenny needs a family to be at the heart of. He is brilliant around children and could live with another dog or enjoy another visiting dog once his excitement levels are contained. Lenny needs a secure garden and regular exercise, embracing further training which is easy as he is food focused. Seems OK with cats.
His Story: Lenny joined a family as a puppy with a Staffie unspayed bitch and 5 young children. The back fencing was practically non-existent and Lenny was allowed to repeatedly get out on to the street and hence he was run over early Dec 11. The dog warden picked him up further times. Last time with a bad limp … obviously his plate had come loose and the family had done nothing about it. The dog warden confiscated Lenny and insisted they spayed their resident dog, else he would take it further with reference to the ‘cruelty inflicted on Lenny’. The bitch was spayed, Lenny’s leg was repaired and he was neutered at the same time. We took him into our care late February. Just chasing vaccination status.
Video: Lenny out walking on a February afternoon
Advert: Lenny is a Boxer X Staffie which is a well favoured breed mix with very good temperament providing they are well socialised with other dogs during early development stage. Lenny was living with another dog and is very receptive and welcoming of dogs and people. He has the classic boxer ‘front hands’ which are available for paw shaking, to wrap around the back of your neck in embrace or to manipulate objects to great effect. Not fearful around traffic; rather blasé so hasn’t learnt full respect of the fast moving ‘wheeled metal cases’! 24 hour foster with a Staffie bitch, cats and children and oh how he shined.
Lenny playing
‘Lenny the Lion’ appeal, in dark brindle clothing. He is of Boxer size with a slightly broader head. He has the most gentle friendly nature of the Boxer combined Staffie and is excellent with children, dogs and people. Questioning intelligence, gets into rough play with his lead but with loud, clear voice message it penetrates and Lenny becomes the meek lamb. A well meaning and tender soul.
“Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found”.
