Lole – 1 year old female Cairn Terrier cross Yorkshire Terrier

Lole is 1 year old Cairn Terrier cross Yorkshire Terrier. She is a gentle temperament and loves children (well behaved albeit). She has had the advantage of grandchildren visiting from the age of 3 years and above. She is light golden in colour and very small in size for her age. She is good with dogs and cats also. She will need some settling in and getting used to going out and about with her new family, as she has not gone out too regularly as she has had so many doggy friends to play with up until now.

Pepper – 2 year old female Pug cross Cairn Terrier

Pepper is a 2 year old pug cross Cairn terrier and is currently on foster in Wrexham. Pepper is a 2 year old cairn terrier cross pug. She is a fun, bright and bubbly dog who will fit in well with any new home. She loves company either human or canine and would not like to live with a full time worker.

Pepper is good with other dogs she meets out on walks and has been good with the dogs in her foster home. She could be rehomed as a single dog if she had plenty of human company or to a home with existing dogs. There have been disagreements over a toy with one of the dogs in her foster family and this would need to be considered when introducing her to an existing pack.

Pepper has a keen drive to chase and will not be able to be rehomed with cats, chickens, rabbits etc in her new home.

Pepper has been in foster carer with children and has been good with them. She is an excitable and bouncy dog and could knock smaller children over.

Pepper is a little overweight at the moment however, in the short time she has been with her foster home she has lost over a kilo! The weight will continue to drop off with good diet and exercise. Pepper is an active and busy dog falling more to the terrier side of her breeding. She will not be a coach potato and will need a good run off lead each day. She will also need to have her mind kept active as she is an intelligent dog. She would benefit from further training as she can pull a little on the lead (although she is much better on a harness). She does have excellent recall however and is good off the lead.

Pepper has been left for a couple of hours at a time by her foster home and has been fine. She has always been left with other dogs in her foster home so care would have to be taken to build any time alone gradually if she were rehomed as the only dog.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk

Trixie is a gorgeous Cairn cross of around 5 years old. She loves EVERYONE , is great with other dogs, But couldn’t live with cats. She travels well in the car, and is clean and non destructive in her kennel. Trixie walks well on the lead, and loves her walks.

Trxie arrived as a stray in a terrible state, She was so matted you couldn’t even feel her skin. First trip was to the groomers, Trixie was fab, and now feels much better !

This little girl is so lovely, she really deserves a home where she will be taken proper care of not like her last home.
