Candi – 13 year old female Cairn Terrier

Candi is a 13 year old ex breeding Cairn Terrier. She needs to be rehomed as her owner is unable to care for her any longer due to ill health. This is a very sad time for both Candi and her owner. A new home is needed URGENTLY.

Candi herself has Cushing’s Disease. Dogs with this condition produce excessive amounts of cortisol. This can have harmful effects on other organs and on the ability of the body to regulate itself.

Candi has regular blood tests and medication to control her illness and is doing well, showing little sign of the illness.

Pro Dogs Direct WILL PAY FOR CANDI’S BLOOD TESTS AND MEDICATION, so new owners will have no more expense than they would for any other dog.

Candi would like a quiet retirement home where she can be loved and spend the rest of her days.

Candi is in Essex.
