Tinks is a 2 year old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russell Terrier. She is looking for a new home due to being bred from and sadly abandoned. She is a nervous girl but once she gets to know you she is a real sweet heart. We feel that she would benefit from further socialising to regain her confidence around people and other dogs. We would prefer to rehome Tinks in an adult only home with an experienced dog owner preferably in this breed or similar. Tinks can possibly live with a small calm male dog and will be spayed prior to rehoming.

Ginger – 4 year old female Chihuahua cross Pomeranian

Beautiful little Ginger is a 4 year old Chihuahua cross Pomeranian girl who came into our care on 22nd November along with a female Border Collie after their elderly owner had to move into sheltered accommodation. Both dogs had lived outside and had never witnessed walking on a lead before. We have chosen to rehome the dogs separately as the other dog attacked Ginger shortly after moving into the kennel environment. Luckily Ginger was unharmed. The pair were riddled with fleas but have now been treated to a good bath and flea treatment, which they really enjoyed and were as good as gold!

Ginger does hold one of her back legs up while walking due to an injury earlier in life that was not repaired. This has caused her knee to fuse together and she may never be able to walk on this leg again, however this does not cause her any problems and she does use it for support when sitting down so for these reasons the vet has decided to let her keep this leg.

This does not hold Ginger back as she adores her walks and is a very happy go lucky little dog. Ginger is an absolute sweetheart! She has a fantastic temperament and is very lovable and friendly. She would suit a quieter home with no young children where she can be a little lap dog and get lots of fuss! She could possibly live with another dog but has not yet been cat tested.

Could Ginger be the little diamond missing from your life? Ginger is currently in kennels undergoing further assessment and will be spayed on 2nd December 2011.

Sonny is approximately 5 years old jack russell/chihuahua male. A sweet little dog, quiet and good with other dogs but a bit nervous of boisterous ones, though has lived with another dog we think. He was seen being thrown out of a car with another dog. they were taken to Council Dog Pound where the other was found a home.

Two Chihuahua cross Dachshund girls of 5 years old-sisters. Boomba and Timone. They are like a pair of book ends an are great fun as they zoom about tails wagging constantly. They stand up and dance together and show their teeth, if asked to smile (see photo on table). WE would like them to go together and anyone lucky enough to pocket them will see how delightful they are together. They stand up on two legs and walk about for quite a long walk, for instance if they are endevouring to see over the other side of the fence! Nosey girls!

They are used to children of 8 plus and accustom to dogs when introduced gently. They are just 12″ in height – but the life, fun, love and enjoyment from them is an awful lot bigger. They like nothing better than to cuddle up on the sofa, when the show is over and then, nothing moves them!

Timone

They would like someone around all day, so they do not become saddened, as their previous owner had to go out long, long hours. Currently with Animal Action Trust Essex 01277 634406

The two Dancing Chihuahua crosses need a home together. These cute 5 year old sisters have been let down and are therefore still looking for a home where they can have the walks and attention they deserve. They will entertain, warm and charm you and your visitors. They like to have someone about. We are standing out for them to go together as they just make such a lovely pair and love each other.

Beaux is a young Chihuahua cross Jack Russell terrier. Measuring approx 9″ to the shoulder she is a adorable little girl. Very friendly she loves her walks and because of her size you don’t notice her on the lead. Will make a wonderful companion.

Buttons is a tiny 1 year old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russell terrier. Don’t be fooled by her size though, this little girl is full character and likes to think she is a huge dog. Measuring 9″ to the shoulder approx she is a busy girl who will need a secure garden. Buttons is very friendly and is very happy to be handled. She gets on well with her kennel mate and would need regular exercise to keep her happy.

Mya is an 11 month old Jack Russell cross Chihuahua who has come into rescue with her litter sister Juno. She is loving, affectionate and the more confident of the two. She would make an ideal family pet for a family with older children as she is quite excitable. Very inquisitive, she is the first to investigate and like all 11 month old puppies is full of mischief! Tula and Foxy – 7-10 year old female Chihuahua cross Corgi

Tula (7 years old) and Foxy (10 years old) are two little Chihuahua cross Corgi girls who really need to find their forever home. Sadly they were both left in Calais by there previous owners who were returning back to the UK from Spain due to there situation they could no longer keep these gorgeous girls. We have had an agonizing week trying to arrange to get them out of France and fearing the worst for these two, however eventually we managed to get them over to the UK safe and sound.

Tula

They are both active and lively girls and enjoy their walks! Great off the lead. In the home they are really laid back and easy, and love a fuss made of them. They are quiet, house trained, very loving and gorgeous! Great with other dogs, and would be ideal with someone who could give this pair a stable and loving home, and nice walks!

Foxy

Please give them a chance they really deserve it after everything they have been through. They are very special and will be very loyal companions. Please get in touch if you think you can offer them a home, they are being fostered in North London.
