Tommy – 18 month old male Chihuahua

Tommy is a smooth haired Chihuahua. He is about 18 months old. He is housetrained and sleeps well at night. He is very affectionate and loves to be taken out in the car. Tommy would be best suited as the only dog of the house hold although he does live with other dogs at his foster carers.

Tommy is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped.

Tommy is being fostered in North London so we would like to re-home him in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done. Posh and Becks – 7 and 2 year old male Chihuahuas

Please meet Posh and Becks. They are two beautiful little Chihuahua’s. They love to sit on your lap all day if they get a chance and are very loving and affectionate. Posh is 7 years old and Becks is 2. They are both neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. They travel well in a car and sleep well at night.

Arthur – 5 year old male Chihuahua

Arthur is a 5 year old neutered male long coat Chihuahua. He is looking for a new home due to his previous owners change of circumstances. He is a nervous boy and is nervous of other dogs so we feel that he would benefit from further socialising. We would prefer to rehome Arthur as the only dog in the home with an experienced dog owner preferably in this breed or similar. He will need to live in a house with a garden and children aged 15 years plus. Arthur is house trained.

Chilli – 3-5 year old female Chihuahua

Chilli is a 5 year old chihuahua and is currently in foster in Plymouth. Please note Chilli will not be ready to go to a new home until the new year as she has recently nursed her puppy Bean and is recovering before she can be vaccinated. She has also had a recent urinary tract infection which is being monitored and treated with antibiotics and we would want her to be 100% healthy before she moves on. However, an interest in rehoming her can be registered now and the relevant rehoming process including homecheck can be carried out in advance.

Sweet Chilli as she should be known is a lovely little girl. She is a fab dog to have around the house, undemanding, affectionate and fun. Chilli came in to our care with a surprise for us as she was expecting a baby. She gave birth to little Bean 8 weeks ago and has been a wonderful mum. Bean has found a new home and Chilli is now beginning to think about moving on herself from her foster home. She will not be ready to go until the New Year when her vet work is complete.

We believe Chilli has lacked early socialisation and she is a nervy girl with new people. This is more apparent with new men that she meets but once she gets to know a man she will settle in his company and has been very affectionate and loving to her foster dad once he earnt her trust. She has not been socialised with young children and she finds the high pitched voices and fast movements scary. Therefore we would not rehome her with little ones. She is looking for an adult only home or with teenagers in the home who will respect her in the early days and give her space to get to know them in her own time.

Chilli has been living in foster care with other dogs and has been good with them. She has a preference for smaller dogs like herself and can be intimidated by larger dogs and hide behind people’s legs when they approach out in the park. She could be rehomed with other smaller dogs or as the only dog if she had plenty of human company.

Chilli cannot be rehomed with cats as she will chase and thinks it is a wonderful bit of sport.

Chilli will need a home with very secure fencing as she is small enough to push through gaps or under fence panels. The secure garden will need to be verified at homecheck.

Chilli is not looking to be a Paris Hilton accessory dog being carried round in a handbag all day. Having said that she is also not looking to be out running the marathon or hiking up mountains. She likes to be taken to new places for a mooch about and a sniff of the flowers and the chance to experience different sights and sounds however, her exercise demands are pretty low.
