German Shepherd Cross
Ruby – 4 year old female German Shepherd Cross
Ruby is a lovely 4 year old girl, who is very affectionate with her foster family and full of life. We believe that Ruby would best be rehomed as the only dog to get all of the attention, she is quite a dominant dog and therefore is liable to show signs of jealousy with another dog in the home. Her basic commands are very good and she will be a very quick learner, she is very food motivated !! Ruby loves to play ball, she is very energetic and would suit someone who has prior GSD experience. She does bark and lunge at other dogs when out on her lead, but this is something that could easily be addressed.

If given treats in the proximity of other dogs she will ignore the dog. She has been great with visitors coming to the home. All in all Ruby is a beautiful dog with lots of potential. Ruby desperately needs a forever home a.s.a.p

Jake – 9 year old male Lurcher cross German Shepherd
Jake is a beautiful 9 year old (yes really!) crossbreed boy, with possible Lurcher and German Shepherd. Poor Jake and his friend Jemma (also listed on DogsBlog) are looking for loving and secure homes either together or separate due to their owner working long hours and so they are no longer getting the exercise and attention they deserve.

Jake was originally rehomed from Leigh Cats and Dogs Home after being saved from a burning house when he was around 1 year old. He has such a sweet nature and is a very loving, affectionate and friendly boy, who is a real people dog! He is still very active and outgoing and would benefit from a fun family home.

Jake mixes well with other dogs and could share his new home with a doggy friend or two but CANNOT live with cats. Due to Jake’s size and fun loving nature any children must be at least 5 years old and dog savvy. He is in fantastic health and is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Can you give this lovely boy the life he so deserves?

Jemma is a lovely 10 year old female German Shepherd crossbreed. Poor Jemma and her friend Jake (also listed on DogsBlog) are looking for loving and secure homes either together or separate due to their owner working long hours and so they are no longer getting the exercise and attention they deserve. Poor Jemma was originally rescued from the RSPCA after suffereing from severe abuse at the hands of her previous owner. This has left her weary of new people and dogs and at first she is quite reserved.

However she is a really loving girl when you can gain her trust, which usually doesn’t take very long. She would suit a quiet home with older teenage children but still enjoys her exercise. She could live with a compatible dog but no cats. Apart from a few harmless fatty lumps (which have been vet checked) Jemma is in good health and is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Jemma is housetrained and non destructive. Can you offer this lovely girl the happy ending she so deserves?

Ginger and Magpie – 6 month old female German Shepherd cross Husky
These beautiful pups, Ginger and Magpie, are 6 month old female German Shepherd cross Huskies who have come into our care together however they can be re homed seperately. These little ones have not had the best start in life and appear to have had little socialisation with humans, they are very wary and un-trusting but given time (and a treat or two) they begin to relax.
Ginger
Ginger 2
They are starting to walk on a lead and after initial nervousness, they do settle down. Once in the woods they walk quite well but they are still wary of people. They will need a home where things can be taken at their own pace and where they can learn all the good things which come with being a member of a family. Someone who is home most the day would be ideal . they are fine to be touched if you go slowly and they all like a treat! At such a young age ,given a bit of time and encouragement , these babies will soon have forgotten their past and be ready for a new life. Ginger and Magpie are looking for quiet homes, without young children, experince with nervous dogs would be preferred.
