Bella – 5 1/2 year old female German Shepherd cross Labrador
Bella is a 5 1/2 month old female black German Shepherd cross Labrador/Collie? She has a wonderful nature and is a very loyal dog. She loves her cuddles and fuss being made of her. She travels well in a car and sleeps well at night. She gets on well with other dogs and is cat friendly. She likes people and children.
She is being walked off lead and is very well behaved. Her socialisation needs to be on going and puppy training classes are recommended. Bella looks to you for reassurance and in the right hands will make a super dog. Bella will need to be spayed and micro-chipped when old enough. Max – 9 month old male German Shepherd cross Rhodesian Ridgeback
Max is 9 months old and is a German Shepherd cross Ridgeback. He has come into the rescue as an unclaimed stray, after giving the dog warden the run around for a couple of weeks, preferring to fend for himself than be caught.
Max is a big dog already and he still has some growing to do, we would prefer him to go to a home with someone who has large breed experience and a willingness to work on his training. He will go to his new home neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Pepper is a small GSD crossCollie who is looking for a new home because the owners no longer have time to look after her. Pepper is a very friendly dog, she is 6 years old is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped flead and wormed. Pepper did get a little jealous of the new baby in the home and therefore we would like her to go to a home with older children or an adult only home. Pepper has been in her current home since she was a 12 week old puppy and has had no issues. She is fully housetrained, her favourite treats are frankfurters, she travels well in a car, she has been to puppy training classes and has tried agility. Pepper knows lots of commands and is quite energetic, she loves her walks. Pepper will make an excellent family pet, with older children.
Bob – 8 month old male German Shepherd Cross
Bobs is a smallish GSD (could be cross) around 8 months old. Bobs is currently in Ireland awaiting a foster/permanent home in the UK, can you offer either of these so that Bobs can make his way over. Bobs is a very sweet boy, quite timid, follows his rescuer about everywhere, he loves people, dogs and also cats. His confidence is improving on a daily basis. Bobs will be vaccinated and neutered before he travels to the UK. Can you help this lovely chap to his forever home in the UK.
Tiny – 1 year old male German Shepherd Cross
Tiny is a GSD cross, we think she is about 1 year old . Tiny came from the dog pound and was due to be euthanised. Tiny is a lovely girl, a bit on the thin side at the moment so w are giving her lots of tlc. Tiny is currently in a foster home where she is coming out of her shell. She was quite timid when she arrived in the UK. Tiny would like a quiter home maybe with another laid back dog. Tiny needs an understanding home where she can build her confidence, so we would like an adult/older dog savvy child home.
Emma – 1 year old female German Shepherd Cross
Emma is a small GSD cross she looks like a perfect GSD but she is the size of a Cocker spaniel , but she is a fiesty little girl, not very old up to about a year we think, she is so loving and very very friendly. We would like to get Emma a foster home or permanent home a.s.a.p. We call Emma, Mini-me the pocket rocket, she will make a fantastic family pet, she would excel at agility if someone would just giver her that chance. She would love to live with older children, maybe another dog.
Scarlet – 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog cross Husky
Scarlet is a 2 year old German Shepherd cross Husky Girl. This girl had previously lived with a lady, her 11 year old daughter and her Cat. The lady was unable to care for her, and had no choice, but to put her in rescue. Currently living with 8 other dogs, from Mastiffs, Shar-Peis, to Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Scarlet does very well. She is a very loyal girl, and truly devoted to people. At times Scarlet can be a little unsure about new people rushing up to her,
and prefers a calm approach, or to come to the person instead.
Outside this girl is very good off the lead, and does respond. But, we always advise a bond with the dogs, before letting them off the lead. She can live as an only dog, or with other dogs, and also children over the age of 8 is ideal, Although she is currently in foster with a 3 year old child.
Willing to please, Scarlet deserves a chance, once again.
She is truly a special girl.

Toby – 10 year old male German Shepherd Cross
Toby is a German Shepherd cross he was born on the 2/june /2001. He loves people and is excellent with children but he is unsure of other animals, until he gets to know them. He can be let off his lead for runs and does come back when called . When you want him to stop you say WAIT and he stops and when you want him to walk you say OK, he just needs a loving home he needs a foster home or forever home as owner is having to leave her house at the weekend and has nowhere for him to go if you are interested in offering him a home contact Jane 01327 858238/07977555238.
Kane – 8 year old male German Shepherd cross Doberman
Kane – is an 8 year old wonderful German Shepherd cross Doberman male neutered, Not to be trusted with chickens, he cannot be rehomed with young children, he is very good on or off lead, good with cats, He is good around other dogs. He is currently at the Sanctuary. Kane has been with us in a kennel at the rescue for two years and we would dearly love to find him a super home. Bunny – 4 year old female German Shepherd cross Labrador
Bunny is a 4 year old female German shepherd cross Labrador. Measuring approx 23″ to the shoulder this girl is gorgeous, she is very friendly and loves a cuddle, she gets on well with other dogs and shares her kennel with a male canine. Bunny loves her walks she does pull on her lead but this can be helped with the use of a harness. She is a playful girl and loves playing toys and playing fetch. Bunny likes treats and knows basic commands, she would make a super companion and family pet.
