Trinity – 2 year old male German Shepherd cross Rottweiler
This is Trinity, he’s a lovely boy and a German Shepherd cross Rottweiler aged approximately 2 years old.
He’s a big dog and strong too especially as he only has 3 legs. Don’t be put of by this as he is not bothered in the slightest and is fine on just 3. He doesn’t want any sympathy or special treatment just a chance at a happy new home just like all the rest of the dogs here. Trinity is a lovely dog who really enjoys to play.
Dee – 3 year old female Cross-Breed
Lovely Dee is a 3 year old medium sized cross-breed girl who looks like she’s most definately got some German Shepherd in the mix.
She gets on great with male dogs and would love to live with a new boyfriend or be spoilt rotten on her own. Dee’s a lovely dog and has been at the centre over a year now for no particular reason – please consider Dee.

My name is Bruno, I’m a 4 year old German Shepherd cross and although I am a strong boy, I enjoy keeping pace with whoever is walking me and I am so sweet natured. As well as being handsome (or so the ladies tell me), I am an energetic lad and ideally prefer to be walked alone but will exercise with the other dogs once I get to know them.
I like playing ball off lead in an enclosed garden, but as I am not yet a pet, I don’t do this nearly often enough! I am a calm and a people-loving dog who craves to be part of the family with owners who can offer me a happy life for always in return for a true friend in me. Please just give me a chance, we can have such fun together!

Millie is a delightful 2 year old German Shepherd Cross. Millie is a large dog who is very friendly. She would suit an owner with a large garden and plenty of time to give her exercise. She travels well and walks very good on the lead.

Bruno is a beautiful German Shepherd cross Collie in his late teens about 19 months old. Bruno had a shocking start suffering abuse, inconsistent messages and neglect. Now behind him, he has learned what trust is. He has built loving and stable relationships with his foster dad, mum and foster dog siblings.
Bruno has been living with 3 large dogs and learned to trust the dynamics of a pack. He is housetrained, ‘treat’ trained and respectful of boundaries. Bruno is a loving intimate dog who enjoys his cuddles and sits expectantly, climbing onto the sofa when invited. Bruno now shares attention, treats and space well with other dogs.
He is good in the car and walks well around streets on a short lead. Outside in open spaces he can demonstrate concern with other dogs and so temporarily wears a muzzle to ensure contact can be maintained as he learns to trust and not to observe approaching dogs as a threat.
We are specific with the type of home we are seeking for Bruno. He requires at least one other low-maintenance, accomplished dog companion. Bruno also needs a dog sensitive male owner who can continue to develop the trust and heal his now out dated conceptions. He needs to be central and inclusive with the family, sleeping in the bedroom and secure with exits managed and garden fences in good repair and substantial. Patience, time and loving reassurance will enable Bruno to come further into himself as an emergent adult dog. Bruno has so much to offer in return. In the home he is a model dog who is subservient to other pack members, loving and caring towards his family members. He shares his space well and is very forgiving if put in his place by another. Loyal he is, affectionate he is and so, so worthy.
Amber – 7 year old female German Shepherd Cross
I’m Amber, I am a 7 year old German Shepherd cross. I am what could be described as a gentle giant as I have a lovely nature. I am good off lead and with other dogs. I had to be rehomed due to unfortunate circumstances and by no fault of my own and am looking someone to really love me. In return I will be their best friend.
Kizzy – 1 1/2-2 year old female German Shepherd Cross
Kizzy is a 1 1/2-2 year old black German Shepherd cross female, she is a happy girl and was also an unclaimed stray and is not too happy in kennels she is good with other dogs.
Taz – 7 month old male German Shepherd cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
This is Taz, he is a 7 month old German Shepherd cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has been in rescue for about three weeks now. Taz is about 7 months old now and has had a couple of homes already but each time the people have got bored with him.

He is of typical Staffordshire Bull Terrier nutty nature and is selective on the dogs that he will play with. Taz would be okay to live with older and sensible children. He will need to visit puppy classes just to do some basic training. Taz has been castrated and will be vaccinated and microchipped.

Please meet Tess, a beautiful German Shepherd cross. This little sweetheart is only 16 months of age and has probably suffered for all of her short life prior to coming to us. Her ears were in a terrible state, very sore, itchy and inflamed and she had complete canal ablations on both her ears when she came into our care.
She has now fully recovered and is currently in a Rochdale Dog Rescue foster home, where she has really settled well. She loves children and loves to play with other dogs. Tess is such a friendly loving girl! We have spayed, fully vaccinated and assessed Tess and she is now looking for her new forever home. Could that be with you?

Conan is a neutered male German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross Dobermann who is approxmiately 6 years old. He is not good around younger children as he does tend to jump up and he has bitten a child when he was fostered out in 2003.
Despite sometimes being destructive and insecure, Conan is very affectionate and does love his tummy tickled! He gets on with most other dogs but not cats and he does occasionally bark at the cockerels here. He can jump VERY high and has very poor recall – he thinks it’s all a big game and will just run faster if you chase him!
