Jake – 5 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Jake is a lovely 5 year old neutered German Shepherd Dog. Jake is being re-homed due to a marriage split. Jake is a very big powerful dog who would need to go to a home with GSD experience. Jake is currently living with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with no problems, we feel that Jake could live with another laid back dog if carefully introduced. Jake is living with cats but owner says that he does not get on with strange cats outside the home. He is fine with women and children, although he can be a bit wary of men. Jake has not really been let of the lead much and will bark at other dogs when out, we think that this could be overcome with training.
Jake is currently living with the owners ex-wife, and she says that he doesn’t take a lot of notice of her when she gives him commands, she says that Jake basically was her husbands dog, and she really has not had much to do with Jake and his training. We are further assessing Jake, but if you can offer this lad a foster/permanent home please contact us. We will re-home Jake with older children only.
Kenzie and Lola – 3 year old male and female German Shepherd Dogs
Meet Kenzie (male) and Lola (female), these stunning 3 year old German Shepherd Dogs have lived together for a long time, they adore one another, and they hope that they can be re-homed together.

Kenzie and Lola are reluctantly being re-homed due to owners works committments, this decision has not been made lightly for these well loved dogs. Kenzie and Lola play brilliantly together and this would be a real shame if they had to be split. We have a full assessment on this pair, can you help?
Lyka and King – 11 and 7 year old male and female German Shepherd Dogs
Lyka (female) is 11 years old and King (male) is 7 years old. Both dogs are German Shepherd Dogs in desperate need of a permanent/foster home in the UK. Lyka and King are currently in Greece and will be arriving in the UK in October 2010. We really want these adorable dogs to have a foster or permanent home when they arrive, Please can you help these dogs, they will be re-homed separately. Both dogs will have relevant paperwork to enter the UK and their passage to UK has been paid by the charity in Greece.
Lyka
Lyka was found by an animal helper, she was wandering on the street, she was bone thin, she smelled awful and had pus coming from her ears. We do not know how old Lyka is as she hasn’t managed to tell us, but she is not young. She is a great girl, friendly, we need a loving home for her. King, was found strolling down the road to the Greek shelter, he was very tired and went straight up to the rescuer as if asking for help. He is an older dog but seems quite strong and in good health.

Phoenix is a lovely, long haired, 4 year old German Shepherd Dog, she is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Phoenix gets on well with the two cats that she lives with, unfortunately she dosen’t appear to like other dogs and this is why she is being re-homed. Phoenix has an enormous character, is very active and quite well trained, apart from when other dogs are around.
Phoenix’s owner does admit that she may not be assertive enough with Phoenix regarding the dog issue and this may be something that could be worked on. Phoenix is still to be fully assessed and we will update on her in due course.
Chloe – 9 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Chloe is a large female German Shepherd Dog who is 9 years old and she has been spayed. She is looking for a home where she will be the only pet as she does not get on well with other dogs or cats. She has lived with children in the past. She was left at the kennels after her owners moved abroad to Spain and didn’t want to take her with them.
Ellwood – 7 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Ellwood is a gorgeous German Shepherd Dog boy aged at least 7 years old. He’s quite a goofy boy who has had a really tough start in life. Ellwood has spent all of his life in an shed in the dark. He has a deformed ear and his back legs haven’t fully developed as he’s been kept in such a small space since he was a puppy but neither conditions bother him at all and he’s never known any different.
A really lovely boy who so deserves another chance at life. Kennelled at Ruskington, Near Sleaford, Lincs.
Sheba – 4 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Sheba is a pretty 4-year-old neutered female German Shepherd Dog. She is currently in kennels so is looking for a forever home or a foster home. Sheba has been to dog training classes and knows sit and wait. She walks on a halti but will jump up and can get very excited and playful – she loves playing with toys, bless her. Sheba lived with children but would be better with older children as she would knock little ones over.

Sabre 7 years old neutered German Shepherd. Sabre has a fantastic temperament and is good with children and other dogs. He is housetrained and fine to be left alone. He has been well socialised and will make a great addition to any family.
Billy – 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog
This is Billy, he is a German Shepherd Dog aged approximately 1 year old, not a big dog but still has a bit of growing to do. Billy was abandoned, he was found tied to a tree, sadly it was obvious that this poor dog had been tethered as his collar had started embedding in his neck.
His wounds have been dealt with, his fur will grow back. Billy is a friendly bouncy boy and is ok with other dogs. We would preferably like to re-home Billy with older children 10+ or an adult only home, and to someone with GSD experience who would be willing to take Billy to training classes. Billy will make some lucky family a lovely loyal companion. Billy’s neck where the collar started to embed.
Maggie – 18 month old female German Shepherd Dog
Maggie is a young German Shepherd Dog we believe her to be about 18 months old. Maggie was abandoned by her owners and ended up in the dog pound. Maggie is a friendly girl but quite timid.
We would like Maggie to go to GSD experienced owners and to someone that can build her confidence. Because we do not know if Maggie has lived with children we would re-home only with older children.
