Linford – 2 year old male Greyhound
Linford is a 2 year old Greyhound lad. He is a VERY handsome, leggy fellow with a gorgeous white and brindle coat. He has piercing amber eyes and lovely big, floppy ears.
Linford has been with us for only a couple of days thus far, so we are still getting to know him. He is adjusting to the different routine of our kennels and is getting used to all the fuss and attention. He has not been tested with cats or small dogs yet, but this can be carried out prior to adoption if needed.
This very striking lad is currently in kennels in Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure. Gorgeous Linford is sure to be a real eyecatcher when trotting along beside you!

Heidi is a 14 month old Greyhound girl. At just 26 inches, Heidi is a very petite lass and has a beautifully soft, deep black coat that makes her very striking. Heidi is still just a puppy at heart, and loves romping around with the other greyhounds in the kennels. She has not yet experienced the joys of a home life, but once she discovers squeaky toys she is going to be in seventh heaven!
Heidi would do well with another young dog for company so they can drain each others energy by romping in the garden. She has not been tested with cats or small dogs yet, but these can be carried out prior to adoption if needed. She loves getting attention from her people, and will do anything for a cuddle.

Elsie is a 6 year old lady Greyhound who is now finished with the racing life and is definitely looking for her retirement home. She is a tall, striking girl with a slender face and smooth coat. Elsie has not been with us long yet, so we are still getting to know her. So far she is proving to be a real sweetheart, good with the other greyhounds and a delight to walk on the lead. Joy is an 8 year old Greyhound lady that has finally been retired from breeding. She has a lovely brindle coat and is in good condition despite her age. Joy definitely lives up to her name, and is a real pleasure to be around. She is a calm, contented lady who would happily stand and be petted all day if she could. She loves being around both people and other greyhounds, and walks beautifully on the lead. She is a no-hassle sort of girl who is content with the simple things in life.. and lots of cuddles, of course!

Amber is a light fawn Greyhound lady who is 10 years young. Dear Amber has had a long life in kennels, and REALLY deserves a soft sofa to retire to. Her coat is rather lack lustre at the minute, but with good food and lots of TLC this will improve. She is a bit stiff after her walks so she will need exercise little and often to help gain some mobility back in her joints.
This gorgeous old girl has very few needs – just a soft bed, some food and TLC and she’s in seventh heaven. She adores any attention given to her, and soaks it up with a happy greyhound smile. She would do best in a quiet household with perhaps an older dog for company. Really all Amber wants is a soft, warm bed to curl up and nap in after a little amble around the block.
Amber is currently in a foster home in Ireland where she is experiencing the joys of home comforts for the first time in her life. She can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up and this will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds. Oakie is a 3 year old Greyhound girl with a gorgeous, soft, lemony brindle coat. Oakie is a new girl here at the kennels, only coming to us in the first week of March. She is still settling in to this new environment and getting used to the routine. Nancy – 6 year old female Greyhound
Nancy is a 6 year old Greyhound lady. She has a lovely light fawn coat and gorgeously deep eyes. Nancy has only just arrived with us so we are still getting to know her. She is quite a chunky girl, somewhat resembling a Labrador when viewed from behind! All this means is there is more of Nancy to love, however, and she is a very sweet, friendly girl. She walks well on the lead and is calm around the other greyhounds in the kennels. She has not been tested with cats or small dogs yet, but these can be carried out prior to adoption if necessary.

Becky – 8 year old female Greyhound
Becky is 8 year old Greyhound and currently living in a foster home with 3 other greyhounds. She is a lovely, lovely girl who regularly gives out kisses and wags her wiggly curly tail. She is a gentle soul who has had a hard life and is now looking for some love and a sofa.
She is house trained and walks beautifully on the lead. She is fine when out and about with other dogs and once back home, loves nothing more than to cuddle up for some quality hugging and to let her teeth chatter in pure pleasure whilst gazing at you adoringly. She is just really sweet and easy and a pleasure to care for.
She would be an ideal first dog for someone but would also be happy either on her own or with some doggy company – but nothing too noisy and busy please. Oh and if you need help tidying up around the house, Becky will join in. She will take all those untidy things and put them in a nice pile on her bed for you to sort through! Becky is currently in the North of England.
Carmel – 4 year old female Greyhound
This is Carmel our little 4 year old shy Greyhound girl. She’s a gentle quiet little soul but I think she’s got more in there waiting to come out when she gets her confidence up and feels safe. She really does have a lovely nature, adores a cuddle and will lean against you if you stroke her ears. She walks beautifully on the lead and is good around all other dogs.
She is in foster with two other dogs and has been a delight in the house – not one accident and well behaved. You would hardly know that she is there except for her coming for a cuddle and looking at you with such soulful eyes that she is impossible to resist. She is coming out of herself a little bit and has asked a couple of the other dogs in the house if they would like to play.
She eats nicely and likes her food but is not excessively foodie and doesn’t bother with the other dog’s food. She settles down at night and you don’t hear a sound from her.
I get the feeling she would like a quieter kind of house because she is a quieter kind of girl. Oh and did I mention that she is awesomely beautiful? Carmel is currently in the North of England.

Here is our gorgeous Emma – a 4 year old Greyhound stunner. And just look at those ears, aren’t they amazing? She’s not a girlie girl though; she is a fun loving tomboy who loves games and toys. Don’t be fooled though, that doesn’t stop her wanting a kiss and a cuddle when her mates aren’t looking!!
Emma is a super girl who has had a hard time but is on the right road now – coat shiny, teeth sorted, manners being learnt and ready for a sofa very near you, hopefully. Emma is currently in the north of England.
