Patrick – 2 year old male Ibizan Hound

Silver is a happy and curious dog that is facing new challenges with enthusiasm. He would make a great and loving companion and he is really open to training. He walks really nicely on the lead, but will need recall work as he is curious in things outside – the typical hound instincts! Silver’s would fit into almost any home, but we would love him to be in a home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. Experience with sight-hounds would also be ideal.

Silver is great with cats and has not shown any interest in them in his current foster home (he does not even look at them!) .

Silver really deserves to be loved and made a fuss of. If you can offer him a special place on your sofa he will repay you with lots of love and is sure to make you laugh at his cheeky antics every day! He really does deserve some TLC. He is so loving and incredibly affectionate. Here is what his foster Mum says about him:

“this little man has totally stolen our hearts,he has only been with us a short while and is proving to be the most delightful little person.He is very affectionate,a true cuddle monster,very bright and responsive,has basic commands but would be very easy to educate further as he is very food orientated ,(which is not surprising as he was found starving)good on the lead,good to travel,completely ignores my cat,so fair to say he is cat friendly,excellent with my Lurcher,plays and shares toys with her.Adores children and people.This is one totally charming little boy,who deserves his forever sofa(which he cuddles up with you and falls fast asleep!) He is a sighthound so he does need a totally secure garden with room to run and play with a friend.I think that would be his idea of heaven,which he so deserves.”

Silver is currently fostered in Kent. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Silver – 3 year old male Podenco Andaluz

Wow how wrong can you be!! This little Podenco has the heart of a lion, the face and character of a clown and the stamina of a thoroughbred. He truly is quite astounding, when you consider that he has only been here a fortnight.

He needs a special home of his own where there are 1 or more dogs for him to relate to and they also must be gentle enough for him to be able to play, he’s no wimp and loves a rough and tumble.

He’s now totally house trained, cat friendly, has learned a few commands, and LIVES for his walks. His daytime sight is limited to shadows and shapes, but he appears to have good night vision, as he gallops round the garden at a hundred miles an hour, dodging all obstacles.

Jiminy is about 15-18 months old semi rough coat golden boy. He just needs that perfect sofa now and the story would be complete, from bumbling around the campo in Spain to his little slice of heaven.

Jimmy is great with cats and house trained. He is neutered, vaccinated and holds a full Pet passport, Can you offer this special little boy his forever home?

Jimmy – 15-18 month old male Podenco Andaluz

Lolly is in foster with children and other dogs and is absolutely lovely. She is initially timid but comes around really quickly and doesn’t have a bad bone, she has met dogs and children of all sizes and is great.

Lolly is a tiny girl, measuring 16 inches to the shoulder, she has a lot of “hound” traits, she adores sitting on the sofa having a cuddle but also does the mad dash around the garden. We are doing a lot of work with the lead training and although initially unsure she then gets into her stride and is extremely curious, she has a bit of a panic whenever anything new comes towards her, either people, animals, cars etc but if you ignore her and just walk on and she is then fine.

Her house-training is 100% now she is crated at night, during the day she is totally clean as well. Due to her sheltered life in Spain everything is new for Lolly and she is coping extremely well. She has been bathed, groomed etc with no problems at all. A dear little girl that will make a fantastic family dog.

She is neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped and has a PET PASSPORT

Lolly – 1 year old female Podenco (Ibizian Hound)

She is very relaxed and quiet in the house, fully house trained and non destructive. She has slowly started to play and she is very gentle. She is great with other dogs, and would like to be re-homed with another companion. She is also fine with cats.

Whoever takes on Beautiful Betty will be rewarded by her loyalty and her gentleness she is a wonderful character and has so much potential.

Sadly she has had a very hard life and was found as a stray on the streets in Southern Spain, she was very thin and malnourished, however she has now made a full recovery and is looking for her forever home. Podencos are very common dogs out in Spain, commonly used for hunting, and treated terribly. However they make wonderful pets, and are loving and sweet natured full of personality. They love their home comforts and of-course also enjoy there walks.

Betty – 4 year old female Podenco (Ibizan Hound)

Podencos are very common dogs out in Spain, commonly used for hunting, and treated terribly. However they make wonderful pets, and are loving and sweet natured full of personality. They love their home comforts and of-course also enjoy there walks.

She really wants to be loved, but she needs an understanding owner who will give her the time and confidence to become herself. She has a cheeky streak waiting to come out!

Heidie is full of character and just needs patience to help her discover her full potential, she is good with other dogs and loves playing and running outside, she can live with cats and dog savvy children.

Heidie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and has a pet passport. This lovely girl is really beautiful and has a lot to give to the right family. She is currently being fostered in North London, please contact us for more info.

Podencos are very common dogs out in Spain, commonly used for hunting, and treated terribly. However they make wonderful pets, and are loving and sweet natured full of personality. They love their home comforts and of-course also enjoy there walks. Nelly is a follower and seems to want to be with you, although very timid, she is curious and eager to please. She has been to training classes in Spain, and is a bright young girl, who learns fast.

She will need patience & time to bring out her full character, she seems more timid around men, but is getting better with her current foster family. She seems fine with cats.

Nellie is really beautiful and has a lot to give to the right family. She is neutered, pet passport, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Nelly – 3 year old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

She is great on and off the lead and has great recall. She is good with children, other dogs and travels well in the car. She is untested with cats but this can be arranged.

Naomi – 5-6 year old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

She is house trained, quiet and is good on the lead. She could happily live with other dogs providing they are a suitable match. We feel in the right loving home Linda will make the ideal dog. We would prefer to rehome Linda to a home with children of 10 years plus. She is fine to live with cats. Someone with Greyhound or similar would be more preferable.
