Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Bobby – 10 month old male Bichon Frise cross Jack Russell Terrier
This is little Bobby he is a Bichon cross Jack Russle and 10 months old he came in with his sister Dolly. Very good with other dogs and likes cuddles, more info to come.
Buddy – 6 month old male Shih Tzu cross Jack Russell Terrier
Buddy, 6 month old male Shih Tzu cross Jack Russell Terrier. Buddy is a gorgeous 6 month old Shih Tzu cross Jack Russell Terrier we believe. He is looking for a new home that understand a “busy” dog’s needs and owners who have the time to train him. Buddy needs a little work on his house training as he does still have accidents. With a structured routine and a little patience this should be remedied quite quickly. Another dog to copy and learn from would be a boon.
Buddy is super quick and may well enjoy agility or fly ball.He is nervous initially, but once he gets to know you he enjoys a cuddle and lots of fuss. There is not a mean bone in him. As Buddy is very young he will need new owners who are around for most of the day and who have the time to commit to training him. He is a work in progress but there is plenty of potential there.
He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is currently in Sidcup Kent

Patch is a 10 year old Westie cross Jack Russell who came into Oldies Club care after the death of one of his owners. Patch is in an Oldies Club foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, waiting for someone to offer him a permanent home.

Likes company: Patch took 2 or 3 days to settle at his foster home. He is very unhappy and unsettled when left completely alone, and when left in the company of his fosterer’s dogs, if they’re left for longer than 3 hours he will cry and bark. Patch is therefore unsuitable for a home with people who go out to work. He would be happy in a home with another dog for company and with an owner that is home a lot of the time. Patch is housetrained.

Excellent with dogs; Chases cats; Fine with older children: Patch is very good with other dogs. We were told that Patch had lived with a cat previously, but in foster care he has chased cats, squirrels and birds out of the garden but was unable to catch them. Patch is OK with older children. He doesn’t like babies when they cry, and with young children he will jump up and knock them over.

Enjoys onlead walks: Patch pulls strongly on the lead at the start of his walk. His recall is very poor in the garden therefore his foster carers haven’t let him off his lead on walks. Patch is happy to walk for up to an hour once a day in the countryside or along the beach.
Good in the car: Patch enjoys a ride in the car. He likes to look out of the window.

Patch’s favourite pastimes: Patch likes to follow his foster carer’s husband around the house and garden. He enjoys sitting near the patio doors looking out whilst eating a pig’s ear. He also likes to play with his soft toy and ball. Some of his favourite food treats are chicken, hot dog sausages and ham!
Patch’s dislikes: Patch does not like babies crying, nor to be on his own.
Patch’s perfect home: Patch likes other dogs so would be happiest with a canine companion. He also needs someone around most of the time. He is happy with older children. His new owner will need to be strong as Patch can pull hard when walking on the lead. Patch also likes to sit on the sofa and will get on your bed if you let him.

Health notes: Patch is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea-treated. He has had a vet check and wasn’t found to have any problems. The vet said Patch seems more like a 7 year old.
Foster carer’s summary of Patch: “Patch is a sweet boy who loves the company of humans and dogs. He sleeps soundly through the night with the other dogs. He happily shares the sofa with the dogs in the evening. Patch is ‘up for anything’ until evening, when he becomes a lap dog, gives a few kisses and falls fast asleep. Patch is looking for a forever home where there is another playful resident dog, someone who will give him quality walks, and above all, a home where he is loved.”

Smiler and Trudy are a Jack Russell terrier and a Jack Russell terrier cross Westie both female of 1 to 2 years of age. These two sweeties need to be rehomed together. Both are super friendly, love going for walks and get on well with other dogs.

Buck – 3-5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Buck is a male 3 to 5 year old Jack Russell terrier cross. Measuring approx 11″ to the shoulder he is a very sweet easy going boy who is very friendly and likes a fuss. He does pull on a lead but this is aided with a harness. Buck will need regular exercise to keep him happy and would prefer a home with no children and as a only dog.

UPDATE: Buck is currently having a little stay over with me, and what a little smasher he is. He is very good on the lead, and loves a good sniff about. He has also had a bath, which he loved, especially the towel drying bit! He loves a toy, and has spent hours playing, and then trying to hide his toys in really obvious places!lol! He is such a little lap dog, and would sit all day on your knee for a cuddle if you would let him.

He is housetrained, and last night slept through the night on the landing without a peep from him. He travels well. He loves to be groomed. He is friendly to everyone he meets. Do consider our Buck!

Ben is a Border Collie Jack Russell cross. Ben was given as a pup to a couple in their seventies and have found his high energy levels increasingly difficult to cope with. He is 18 months old and is neutered and has had all his injections. He is approximately 19″ to the shoulder and has no health conditions that we are aware of; he seems to be in extremely good health.

He is a very affectionate, friendly dog who gets on well with older children and has lived with another small terrier, he seems to have no aggression problems at all. He has had very little training, but seems to be very intelligent. He would benefit from experienced dog owners who have the time and patience to exercise and train him properly; he is a dog with a lot of potential and would make a fantastic pet for the right owners. I suspect he would be too excitable for people with small children; he is very playful and likes to jump-up.

Rocket, 5 yr old male Jack Russell Terrier cross. Written by owner: Rocket is a five year old Jack Russell cross that I took in a few months ago after his elderly owner died and he was left alone with no-one to care for him.

Since then he’s turned out to be a lovely, active dog with a generally sweet nature but he can be very nervous around strangers and has bitten several people both in the home and on the street. He’s wormed, de-flead, neutered and chipped.

Rox is a very sweet Jack Russell Terrier Cross of about a year old. To be honest we have no idea what she is crossed with, but she is a very pretty little girl. She has a great nature and loves to jump so may well be a good candidate for agility. Rox is fine with other dogs, we have no idea what she would be like with cats. She is crate trained and is clean in the house.

Rox is fine with children but would do better living with older ones simply because she does tend to jump up with excitement. Rox is with her owners In Bracknell Berkshire.
