Jack Russell Terrier

George – 2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

George is a very friendly 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier boy who has come into us due to a relationship break down. He is good with older children and other dogs and he is a loving little lad who knows his name, sit, down and wait. He is very playful and so gentle. He is a very fun boy and in need of an active family environment to keep him stimulated.

He travels well and walks really well on the lead. He wants to be everyone’s best friends and even when told off by other dogs – he just backs off straight away and walks the other way. He has shown no signs of food aggression and has no problem with people near his food bowl.

He will make a wonderful pet to any active loving home. Currently on foster in South Wales but we home across the UK.

Lucy and Morris – 10 year old male and female Jack Russell Terrier and Bichon Frise

Lucy is a gorgeous Daschund cross JRT and Morris is a handsome Bichon Frise. They are both 10 years old and are looking for a loving home together. They are a wonderful pair and have been handed in as their owner is no longer able to care for them. Both are very sweet and can live with dogs, cats, children and even chickens! They are fine to be left for reasonable periods of time.

Lucy is a very good girl off lead and will walk to heal but Morris is better on a long lead as he will tend to get distracted and wander off. This pair must be homed together. They are currently on foster in Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire but can be homed across the UK.

Can you offer these perfect pooches a loving home where they can still get regular gentle walks?

Please note there is no set donation for this wonderful pair.

Pippin – 9 month old male Jack Russell Terrier

Pippin is the most adorable little wire haired Jack Russell Terrier type boy. He is thought to be around 9 months old and is currently settled in his foster home with a couple of Yorkshire Terriers and Missie the Rain Rescue mascot, another Jack Russell Terrier. Pippin on arrival had a matted coat but after a good bath is looking much more presentable. He is good with the other dogs and is very playful, but also happy to chill out and have a good cuddle.

Jacob – 10 month old male Jack Russell Terrier

This is the adorable Jacob. Jacob is a JRT of around 10 months old , and has the sweetest nature. Jacob is VERY cute, when you pick him up he cuddles in and grips your hand with his feet, and you can feel his little tail wagging. Jacob was found following some kids to school. And one of the mums with her Rottie took him home and then called the Dog Warden, Jacob has now served his time as a stray and is now looking for a new home.

Jacob is a little scared of walking on the lead at the moment, so this needs working on, but he is getting on much better. Jacob would benefit of living with a confident dog, and someone around a fair bit of the time.

Can you offer this sweetest, cutest little chap his forever home ?

Whisler – 1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Homing Requirements: Whisler needs a terrier home to appreciate what a good terrier he is! He needs to be retained on an extender to ensure he doesn’t get near roads. He needs a secure garden and exit management. Whisler should live with at least one other dog. Whizler may settle with a cat.

His Story: Whisler was found stray. He went into a non-terrier home and came out very scared of human command, obviously the owner didn’t know how to befriend and coerce a terrier. He went into foster with cats but came out having nipped but this dog isn’t the nipping sort! Now fostered with a Terrier and Collie and having a great time. Neutered, vax’d and chipped.

Video: Whisler with Susanna his fosterer in the paddock:

Advert: Whisler is an anti-depressant! He smiles and the world smiles with him. He needs to be understood for the terrier he is and then all will be well. He is housetrained and uses the garden. He is still young and can get a little unnerved, give a little bark and he is reassured with a kind word and trotting over to you for comfort. Would settle better with older children or visiting… needs an agenda centered round his needs at his age. Fostered in Reading.

Whisler is a long legged terrier, with a thick mink brown mane. He is about 18 months old and has looks to die for and a winning smile. He has excellent dog skills and needs to live with at least one other dog as we always home to a dog’s strengths. He could feel a little lost as an only dog. Whisler travels well. He so enjoys his walks and takes it all in like he is watching a circus act…chuckles galore.

Please visit Whisler’s thread on our forum: http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/sutra79891.php#79891 to find out more and follow his progress.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire https://rescueremedies.wufoo.com/forms/r7x3s5/ so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

Alfie – 9 week old male Jack Russell Terrier

My name is Alfie, I came to my rescue mummy from the dog pound with my brother, he has now gone to his forever home but I am still looking for mine. I need to be in a home with another dog as I do like the company. I am a great family dog as I even attended a 2 day event at Pets at Home where lots of people and children cuddled me and I was very well behaved. I am not yet house trained but I am learning. I love being part of the family and having cuddles on the sofa or playing with the other dogs in front of the fire. I could be homed with a dog confident cat as well.

If you could love me please call Impawtant Pups Puppy Rescue in Burton DE15 on telephone number 07926 249449 or email impawtantpups@gmail.com for an application form.
